Gears of War 3 is a fantastic co-op title, overflowing with modes and content. Games with major online components like that usually require some tweaks after the fact in order to keep things fair, balanced, and fun. Thankfully Epic is on top of things, recently releasing a title update with some fixes. The many changes include: a new spectator mode, the removal of several exploits, better host migration in Horde mode, and lots more.

Phew - can you believe the fall gaming season is over already? Thankfully we managed to survive mostly unscathed. Nick and Mike discuss what they've been playing and go over the myriad of reviews the site covered in the past month. If it had co-op, you can bet we reviewed it. Also covered are the handful of news stories including two great bits on Co-Optimus and our placement in Shoot Many Robots.

Serious Sam 3: BFE hits store shelves and digital download today.  Fork Parker and the good people over at Croteam have a launch trailer that is adequately violent and Sam-worthy.  After all the blood and guts one thing is obvious: there will be sunglasses in the future.  Either that or Croteam really didn't want to do any eye animations.  Who can blame them?  Half the time they just look like creepy little soulless orbs, anyway.  Enjoy the blood and death metal.

The new trailer for Spec Ops: The Line is intriguing to say the least.  It looks as if this will be more than just a simple military shooter.  After a natural disaster eradicates Dubai your team is tasked with tracking down the US Army's 33rd Infantry.  The 33rd was believed to be KIA until the outside world received a weak distress signal.  Oh, yeah, they were led by a Colonel named John Konrad.  Get it?  No?  Then read a book.  

Silent Hill: Book of Memories may be the black sheep in the series.  Silent Hill is known as an intense horror franchise full of disturbing images.  Book of Memories will be *gasp* a top down shooter?.  I guess that's one way to get co-op into an IP.  Check out the gallery to see some of the intriguing locales you'll be running and gunning through.  That just doesn't sound right in a Silent Hill game.  It looks like we'll be visiting brownish hell, reddish hell, and bluish hell in this adventure.  We'll see how it all works out early next year.

It's almost the biggest shopping day in America, Black Friday, but Walmart has jumped on the bandwagon early with a killer co-op friendly bundle on the PlayStation 3.  For only $199 you'll get a 160GB PlayStation 3 Slim, a copy of the co-op games Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One and LittleBigPlanet 2.  Also included is 30 days of PlayStation Plus a controller and an HDMI cable.  

The fall Xbox 360 dashboard update is coming very soon. Tuesday, December 6 to be exact! The most dramatic update so far, it utilizes the tile-based Metro UI made popular on Microsoft's Windows Phone platform. But that's just the tip of the iceberg...

Have you checked out the demo for Rayman Origins?  Did you know it supports four player local co-op?  I just  signed in three other controllers and gave it a whirl, and it appears to be a worthy co-op platformer.  I'll have to try again with three other people.  A one-year-old and two pugs do not make good co-op partners.  Check out this video and see all the different ways you can beat the game.  You can expect our Co-Op Review soon.

Sesame Street: Once Upon A Monster is getting some out-of-this-world DLC.  The Unidentified Furry Objects  pack will be out on the Xbox LIVE marketplace tomorrow.  Cookie Monster, Grover, Elmo, and the gang spot a light in the night sky and are soon visited by new furry friends.  You can check them out in the attached gallery.  Expect more of the great local co-op gameplay that earned the kid-friendly title a 4.5 out of 5 in our Co-Op Review.

Just when I though I was done with this season's multiple co-op release weeks, they pull me back in.  This week we have a dancing game, an over-the-top shooter, and a wrasslin' title.  I trust you can figure out which is which.

Good Co-Op, Bad Co-Op - a tale of two friends who love playing games together.  The man who gives the best upsidedown hugs, Sunflower4000 and the love wizard Locke have put their differences aside and teamed up cooperatively in a battle against fate.
