Resistance 3 was a solid game all around, with a full co-op campaign for two players both offline and online. But the third iteration of the series was a drastic departure in terms of co-op from Resistance 2; the second game had offered a eight player online co-op mode. Some folks were disappointed that this feature was missing from Resistance 3.
Dungeon Defenders is coming out next Wednesday. No really - after a ton of delays (which sound like they may have been worth it, due to the crazy amount of features the game will now have), it'll finally be coming to your PC, 360, or PS3, depending on your preference. In what is perhaps an effort to sway more PC sales, Steam is offering some Valve-oriented pre-order incentives for your pre-ordering delight. A Steam pre-order will grant any of your characters access to four Team Fortress 2 familiars/pets, and your Huntress class access to a portal gun. Don't believe me? We usually don't make too big a deal about demos, unless of course, they have co-op. The Cursed Crusade demo supports local co-op and is available now on Xbox Live. It should be on the PS3 soon. Through the magic of the internet I have played the demo while writing this sentence. It's cheese-tastic and fun, and more importantly, the game was made with co-op in mind. Happy Feet 2: The Video Game will be toe-tapping it's way onto consoles latter this fall to coincide with the film's release. The first movie was a fun little jaunt. No, Morgan Freeman didn't narrate it. That was the other penguin movie. Players will take on the roles of Mumble and Ramon, working cooperatively to solve puzzles.
We haven't heard much from Binary Domain since our time with the game at E3. This new trailer has plenty of gameplay footage, and features the game's "Consequence" system. Apparently, your AI partners will cop an attitude with you if you ask them to do things that will get them killed. The game has a unique voice control system which allows you to command your squad mates as you battle to save future Tokyo from psychotic robots. Who here thought future Tokyo wouldn't have psychotic robots?

Amazon must be having a fire sale on Bethesda published co-op games. After the Brink deal from earlier this week, the retailer now has the two player co-op Action/RPG, Hunted: The Demon's Forge on sale too. How much are they asking for the two player co-op game?
