At this past weekend's ExileCon - the annual convention put on by Grinding Gear Games for all the Path of Exile fans out there - the developers revealed there new projects related to their long-running action-RPG. The first of these is Path of Exile 2, though the name is a bit of a misnomer; it's not a full-fledged sequel, but rather a kind of revamp of the existing game that includes a new seven-act storyline. It is not, at this time, launching separately from the Path of Exile game, but instead will be included as a kind of update to it.

Path Of Exile, the ever-growing and evolving free-to-play, action-RPG, has received a new trailer for the upcoming “Blight” update. The video, available below, features developer commentary as they discuss a new mode that will arrive with the update: tower defense.

Seems like the development team over at Grinding Gear Games never stop working. After bringing their action-RPG title, Path of Exile, to the Xbox One in August, they've got a big, free update/expansion planned to arrive next week for the PC, and then the Xbox One after that.

While Path of Exile is nearly four years old, the massively popular free-to-play ARPG has never previously received a console treatment. Yesterday, that milestone was met when the game entered closed beta on Xbox One.

Grinding Gear Games have announced that their F2P online ARPG, Path of Exile, will be coming exclusively to Xbox One in 2017. The Xbox One version of Path of Exile will contain all five previous expansions already available on the PC.  It will also contain new content that will be launching for the PC version this year in the upcoming 3.0.0 expansion and the Act V goodies.

Call the co-op buddies, the free to play RPG Path of Exile is about to suck you in once again. The Awakening is on its way in June, and it's boasting so many new areas, new monsters, new maps, and other improvements, the development team has been secretly calling it Path of Exile Version 2.0.0.
