Plants Vs. Zombies Coming September 8, Co-Op Details Revealed

Plants Vs. Zombies was a casual game smash last year, and saw releases on PC and iDevices.  As a tower defense fan, I picked the game up off Steam and really had a good time with it.  A simplified tower defense formula coupled with a whole bucketload of humor and charming graphics made for a great combination.  Next month, Xbox 360 gamers will be able to enjoy Plants Vs. Zombies for the first time, and best of all, there's a brand new co-op mode!  Two players will be able to select their own seeds to plant, and by working together, they can defend one lawn from the undead invaders, all at the same time. Player 2 can drop in and out of the adventure mode at any time.  The zombie killin' action begins on September 8, for $15.

Dragon Quest IX Co-Op Review

The Dragon Quest series is nothing if not traditional. While its genre contemporaries dabble in all manner of ridiculous systems, ennui and flamboyantly-dressed ladyboys, Dragon Quest has been content to deliver a solid, lighthearted adventure time and time again.

Co-Op Monthly Round-Up for July 2010

Can you believe it's August already?  That puts us within 6 weeks of titles like Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days, Halo Reach, and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.  July may have been a bit light on the releases for co-op gamers, with the notable exception being Crackdown 2, but there was still plenty to play.  The month wrapped up with a "bang" as Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty found it's way to our hard drives after 12 years and Alien Swarm surprised us with it's awesome free goodness.

Save Coin on Square Off

Indie game Square Off may not be everyone's cup of tea, but for the measley new price of one dollar, it can be your large soft drink. Not only has the price dropped, but Gnomic has seen fit to add two multiplayer levels and a third level for single player and co-op. In addition, new music tracks, improved sound effects, and a broader range of difficulty has been added to appeal to a wider audience.
