Snoopy had a life long day dream of becoming a fighter pilot against the dreaded Red Baron. Thanks to videogames that dream has become a reality. But every Snoopy needs his Woodstock. Today we review Snoopy Flying Ace for Xbox Live Arcade.

Laverne and Shirley.  Starsky and Hutch.  Mel Gibson and Danny Glover.  These people all of something in common - they are co-op buddies till the end.  And now Deathspank and Sparkles joins the long list of duos as the co-op pair is playable in the upcoming XBLA and PSN game called Deathspank.  Looks like Sparkles got the shaft on the title for that one.

Here's a nice little surprise if you own Perfect Dark HD on Xbox Live Arcade - a Crackdown 2 agent.  How do you get him?  All you need to do is play the final version of Crackdown 2 and upon firing up Perfect Dark HD the game will detect the save file and unlock "Agent 4."

There is much to love in War for Cybertron; the designers borrowed heavily from successful co-op franchises like Gears of War and Call of Duty, then added in a well-integrated transformation mechanic to create a title that is truly worthwhile in and of itself, notwithstanding the iconic robots.

Being a good host can be hard work. Thankfully, an understanding co-op partner and a lobby system can make hosting a little easier on a guest-weary gamer.

If you don't care about any of those awesome goodies picture above in the Fable 3 Collector's Edition, perhaps downloading the game in pieces is more up your alley.  We've already heard Fable 3 will be Episodic in nature, and now word comes straight from Lionhead that episodic digital distribution of the game will occur shortly after launch - no doubt fueled by the success of Fable 2's episodic release.

SEGA has announced a brand new map pack for Aliens vs Predator on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.  Called the Bughunt pack, you'll be ready to enjoy four new maps across different environments.  Speaking of environments the maps adds in weather effects like rain, as well as environmental hazards like flaming pits.

In celebration of the 4th of July in the states and Canada Day in um, Canada, from July 1st to July 6th all game modes in Gears of War 2 will net you 8 times the amount of normal XP. 6x XP during E3 was a big success, so Epic figured why not make it bigger and better this time? 

Last week, Marc and Mike chronicled their adventures together as they tackled Dawn of War II's campaign.  This week, Co-Optimus staffers Tally and Jason will regale you with their tales from their recent venture into Left 4 Dead 2's "The Passing" DLC campaign.  Rather than a straightforward telling, though, they've gotten a bit creative with this assignment and decided to detail their adventure from the perspective of the characters they played: Rochelle and Ellis.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 has faced a lot of issues since its release. Fans annoyed with exclusive content, glitches that compromised that exclusive content, then the DLC content and all of the data was pulled from Xbox LIVE and PSN. Neither system even had Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 listed as a game anymore, but now that has changed until the end of 2010.

So you've spent a bit of time in Crackdown 2. Built up a character, collected some orbs, unlocked a few achievements, but you just want a bit more of a challenge. Today, the demo has done a little unlocking, giving you the ability to use the "Ruthless" difficulty setting while stomping around Pacific City.

Our Co-Optimus crystal ball left out one major detail regarding the Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days exclusive Xbox 360 demo - apparently it does not include co-op. At all.
