The Co-Opticrew is totes busy this weekend.  As it turns out, one of our relatives contacted us out of the blue with some dope news!  He has this sweet place upstate that he isn't using anymore, so he thought we should check it out.  It took us a little while to hire a stagecoach driver, but we finally found a guy who said he "knew that area like the back of his hand, and couldn't wait to introduce us to all the glorious wonders the Darkest estate had to offer."  He even, like, flamboyantly gestured to us with the back of his hand when he said it.  I'm not one to judge, but the dude could've used some hand lotion or something, cause that thing was straight scaly.

Night after night, life after life, bullet after bullet, Taylor and I are pushing deeper and deeper into mysterious future of Nuclear Throne.  We may not be especially good at it, and the game may do little to persuade us otherwise, but like wild, super rad horses with guns and lots of money and stuff, we saunter on.

FromSoftware and Namco Bandai have released the latest batch of screens/art for Dark Souls 3, and they're all looking good. I'm getting pretty excited for all of this winter to go away and spring to get here already so I can dive into this game and get mercilessly killed over and over. I really mean that.

And now for something completely different. Organic fruits and veggies are finally sticking it to all those meats and cheeses in Organic Panic, a puzzle platformer put out by Last Limb LLC. The main focus of the game appears to be destroying the environment in creative ways in order to defeat foes and collect glowing orbs.

The zombie-themed hits in Call of Duty games keep coming with the latest bit of DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Dubbed "Der Eisendrache," this new adventure comes as part of the Awakening DLC, which also includes four new multiplayer maps: Skyjacked, Rise, Splash, and Gauntlet.

The two most recently announced characters for Battleborn, Deande and Ghalt, are giving us a sneak peak at their abilities in a couple of new character highlights. 

January should be a quiet month for gamers as we catch up on our holiday backlog, but it is nearly February and it is about time we had some fresh co-op action.  Well head down to the shop right now and you can pick up the two player co-op LEGO Marvel's Avengers.  To celebrate, there is a new trailer.

Homefront: The Revolution is a little under four months away from seeing release and new information is going around regarding its co-op mode, titled "Resistance Mode." Where it was once thought that the main campaign would be playable with friends, it appears that much of that has been split off into its own thing.

This next title is a little different from the others we've seen over the past few days. From the developers of Terraria and Pixel Piracy comes Pixel Privateers, a tactical squad based RPG "loot 'em up."

It's time to crash a robot doomsday party with Flying Oak Games' new rogue-lite NeuroVoider. Play as one of four human brains left after the robots have annihilated humanity, and have up to three friends join you for cooperative carnage. It might be nice to have the emotional support after repeated death due to environmental hazards, massive bosses, and unrelenting hordes of evil robots.

The new games of 2016 keep rolling in. This time we've got a twin-stick shooter, Livelock, set in a future where groups of corrupted machines - called Clusters - have taken over and are fighting amongst themselves. It's up to you, a human intellect uploaded into a robot body, to take them down.

Nobody said it would be easy, but we weren't expecting to spend two hours failing the Prison Break heist finale over and over again. The Friday Awesomely Live Co-Op crew was having a rough Friday last week, and never managed to get Rashkovski out of prison successfully. After last week, we're starting to re-think our glowing opinions of GTA Online, but we're still willing to give it another shot.
