We dig into the nuts and bolts of co-op play.

Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One Co-Op Review

I've only casually played the past Ratchet and Clank games, so I'm a person coming into Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One with an almost clean slate. To be honest, even after it was announced to have a four player co-op mode, I never planned on picking up the game. Once the beta was released I was more than pleasantly surprised at what made up the nuts and bolts of this Ratchet and Clank title.

Resident Evil: Revelations Gets Co-Op Mode, $50 Price Tag

While the 3DS has already gotten a dedicated cooperative Resident Evil game, the next Resident Evil game - despite being single player focused - will also offer a co-op mode.  Resident Evil: Revelations will have a cooperative mode for two players called Raid.  On the surface it seems very similar to the co-op found in the Mercenaries mode in previous RE titles, though there's a few unique twists.

Ubisoft's new domain suggest that Rainbow Six: Patriots is the name of the upcoming game in the popular franchise

The New Rainbow Six Gets a Name

I love me some T-Hunt.  This is the Rainbow Six game mode that allows 4 players to co-op together and take on a map of AI enemies.  The next game in the series has already been announced, but currently remains nameless.  This is about to change as recent domain names suggest Rainbow Six: Patriots will be its moniker.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City to Have a Public Beta

Now that Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City has a solid release date, we can start wishing for a beta.  Good news!  There's going to be a public beta this winter.  That was easy.  Since the game is due out in a few months, we should expect the beta sometime soon.  RE: ORC Producer Mike Jones says we can expect a beta "early next year."  If this game is as good as I remember, we could be in for a real treat.  Here's a quick synopsis: Four players team up as the members of an evil Umbrella hit team, determined to take out any survivors of the Raccoon City disaster.  Hell yeah.

Co-Op MechWarrior Game is Cancelled, Becomes F2P Versus Game

It was only a week ago today that we told you more news would be coming about a brand new MechWarrior title.  Now that "soon" has arrived, I've been tasked with the bearer of bad news.  While we did get the information promised about the game, now called MechWarrior Online, we've learned that the original concept for the MechWarrior game has been scrapped in favor of a Free 2 Play PC exclusive game with micro transactions.

Space Marine Co-Op Content Finally Available on All Systems

It's been almost two months since WH40K: Space Marine has been released into the wild.  The much anticipated (at least by 40k fans) "Exterminatus" co-op mode released on the PlayStation 3 and PC last week, and is now live on the Xbox 360.  The co-op mode will take a meager 337 MB of hard drive space, so get to downloading!  I also noticed that there are slots for four more DLC packages, which is very interesting, given that some honchos at THQ seem less than impressed with the title's performance.

The new trailer for Rabbids: Alive and Kicking highlights some of the 4 player co-op mingames.

Four People Have Never Looked So Cool than in this Rabbids Trailer

Joining a band, becoming a member of the Jamaican Bobsleigh Team, Performing the Y.M.C.A., and surviving the zombie hordes in Left 4 Dead: these are just some of the ways to look super awesome as a foursome.  As of 8th November, we can add playing Rabbids: Alive and Kicking on 360 Kinect to this list.  A new trailer highlights some of the 4 player minigames on offer and they look too cool for school (Co-Optimus does not endorse skipping classes - stay in school kids).
