October is here and it is on! It's game time!. We have a healthy stable of new releases this week. There's a zombie game redux, a high flying sequel, a variety of downloadable titles, and there's even something for the kids. Is it just me, or do Frank West's hands look weird? He's got some monkey fingers.

Right now you can snag Brink on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 for a tiny chunk of change. Just how small? How about ten dollars. Ten dollars for a co-op game we gave a solid 4 out of 5 on. Ten dollars for full eight player online co-op through the entire campaign. Ten friggin dollars.
There's a new movie style trailer out for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 hoping to hype you for the game. While it doesn't show any specific footage of the game's cooperative mode, it does set the stage for the single player campaign. Our good friend Makarov is back and he's not as insane as we might have thought.
Though the Nintendo 64 isn't exactly regarded findly by most modern gamers, it was an excellent gaming system. There might not have been a huge number of co-op games for the system, but the ones that were available provided great opportunities for teamwork in a variety of ways.
Perhaps you thought that the events of the last three Harry Potter books could've been pictured more dramatically than they were in the live action movies. Well, sir or madam, I ask you to watch this brand-spanking-new LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 trailer and see if you still think that the case! It's getting darker early as fall progresses, but not nearly as dark as Dark Souls, which appears on several lists this weekend. I guess some of our contributors are masochists or something? Gears 3 and other recent releases, as well as drumsticks from a certain large poultry also make appearances. Quite a lineup, don't you think?
