Remember when Borderlands had a good villain?

First DLC for Borderlands 3 Arrives December 19

A couple days ago, Gearbox revealed the first DLC for Borderlands 3. Titled "Moxxi's Heist of The Handsome Jackpot," players will be recruited by Moxxi to break into an abandoned casino that was built by Handsome Jack back when he was 1) alive, and 2) President of the Hyperion corporation. Your goal is to break into the core of the casino and take over (anyone want to bet that it'll be turned into a Moxxi-themed casino when you do?)

Celebrate 10 Years of Borderlands With Special In-Game Events in Borderlands 3

It's hard to believe, but the original Borderlands launched 10 years ago on October 20, 2009. To celebrate that occasion, Gearbox is kicking off a series of limited time in-game events within the latest entry in the series, Borderlands 3. Right now, if you hop in and go after a few specific bosses, you'll have an increased chance to nab some legendary loot.

Being able to play with friends regardless of platform would REALLY be "happy together"

Borderlands 3 Will Have Cross-Play "As Soon As Practicable," Not At Launch

A new trailer for Gearbox's Borderlands 3 dropped earlier this week. While many speculated/hoped that when the developer teased a "Celebration of Togetherness" on July 16, that they'd be announcing some kind of cross-platform play for the forthcoming loot-shooter. Sadly, that was not the case. Randy Pitchford, CEO for Gearbox, set expectation just ahead of the event by tweeting out that it would not be about cross-play, but that they "are committed to supporting cross-play for Borderlands 3 with our partners as soon as practicable after launch."
