[E3 2019] - Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order DLC Revealed

The upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will have additional character packs available after release as DLC. These packs were revealed as part of Nintendo’s E3 event but few details were provided, with the official webpage for the game stating that the game will feature “The Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the X-Men, and more!” However the post then goes on to outline that you can “Then expand your ultimate alliance with the paid Expansion Pass, which includes upcoming DLC content from popular franchises like the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and the Marvel Knights.”

While there were a number of exciting moments during this year's Game Awards, perhaps one of the more memorable ones for us was the reveal of a new Ultimate Alliance game, aka MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3: The Black Order. It should come as no surprise that plot of this game - following on the heels of "Avengers: Infinity War" - revolves around Thanos and his collection of cult-like followers, the titular Black Order.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 Both Delisted From Digital Platforms

It appears Activision's license with the Marvel franchise has expired, as their recent reissues of the popular action-RPGs, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, have been pulled from Steam, the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store. The good news is that if you bought them from any of those sources prior to today, you should still have access to them.

Both Marvel Ultimate Alliance Titles May Be Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Apparently, if you want to find out about whether or not a game is coming to the consoles, you should hit up the Taiwan Game Software Rating Information board. Similar to how HAWKEN got listed on a Taiwan Microsoft store page early, three older Activision games (Marvel: Ultimate AllianceMarvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron) all got ratings for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
