This is the end, my only friend

New Update Trailer for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition

It's all about action with the latest trailer from 4J Studios. They have been teasing update 9 of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition for some time now. The main addition with this latest Minecraft update is the Enderdragon. Like we covered in a previous article, players will be able to collect a special item to travel to "The End" and face the Enderdragon in combat. It is no minor affair, and only the best equipped and battle-ready characters will be victorious. This is due to the fact that the Enderdragon has a few nasty tricks up his sleeve this time around. We covered the new and improved Enderdragon a while back, who has crystals protected by iron bars and comes with the ability to spray liquid acid on the players.

Dragon's Crown: New Videos and Screens

Dragons' Crown is coming to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita this summer. It's a side scrolling beat'em up/action RPG that features some intriguing hand-drawn artwork. Frank Frazetta would be proud. Once you get past the physical appearances of the Amazon and the Sorceress, there's a pretty decent looking co-op game here. In fairness to the ladies, several other creatures seem to be sans clothes, themselves. The dwarf, for example, is wearing little more than a beard, boots, and belt.

Prepare your Caos warrior

Ascend: New Gods Closed Beta Sign Ups Begin

I've been curious about Ascend: New Gods ever since I first played it back at last year's E3. The free to play action RPG offers some interesting gameplay elements. A player's journey will feature parallel multiplayer, where players can curse or bless each other's games using Crusade Spells. These blessings include healing allies or turning their enemies into cows. You can also curse enemy players by banishing enemies from your world to theirs.

This is probably one of the best villian makeovers we've seen.

See Why the Gorn Mean Serious Business in the Upcoming Star Trek Game

For Star Trek fans, nothing could be more nostalgic than facing off against such a menacing race of reptilian aliens known infamously as the Gorn. They initially appeared in the 1967 “Arena” episode of the original Star Trek series, striking fear into the hearts of many. If you haven’t heard of them, they’ll be getting a massive, modern makeover in the newest Star Trek game from Namco Bandai.

Hitting the books once again

New DLC Available for Silent Hill: Book of Memories

It looks like a new DLC has arrived for Silent Hill: Book of Memories on the Playstation Vita. The game came out in October of last year to lukewarm reviews. Far from the best Silent Hill game in the series, it was more of a radical experiment involving the Silent Hill mythos. We reviewed the co-op experience of the game some time ago, giving the the title an average score.
