Walmart Offering $199 PS3 Bundle with Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One and Little Big Planet 2

It's almost the biggest shopping day in America, Black Friday, but Walmart has jumped on the bandwagon early with a killer co-op friendly bundle on the PlayStation 3.  For only $199 you'll get a 160GB PlayStation 3 Slim, a copy of the co-op games Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One and LittleBigPlanet 2.  Also included is 30 days of PlayStation Plus a controller and an HDMI cable.

New Video Displays the Many Ways to Beat Rayman Origins

Have you checked out the demo for Rayman Origins?  Did you know it supports four player local co-op?  I just  signed in three other controllers and gave it a whirl, and it appears to be a worthy co-op platformer.  I'll have to try again with three other people.  A one-year-old and two pugs do not make good co-op partners.  Check out this video and see all the different ways you can beat the game.  You can expect our Co-Op Review soon.

Once Upon A Monster Getting UFO DLC Tomorrow

Sesame Street: Once Upon A Monster is getting some out-of-this-world DLC.  The Unidentified Furry Objects  pack will be out on the Xbox LIVE marketplace tomorrow.  Cookie Monster, Grover, Elmo, and the gang spot a light in the night sky and are soon visited by new furry friends.  You can check them out in the attached gallery.  Expect more of the great local co-op gameplay that earned the kid-friendly title a 4.5 out of 5 in our Co-Op Review.

Co-Op Classics: Happy 10th Birthday, Xbox!

This past week marks the tenth anniversary of the release of two co-op consoles. On November 15, 2001, Microsoft entered the video game hardware market with the original Xbox. Just three days later, the veterans at Nintendo released their offering, the GameCube. Besides very similar names, the two systems shared at least one more attribute. They both brought new innovations to our favorite aspect of video gaming: cooperative play. This week, we'll cover the first of these systems, the Xbox.
