Saints Row: The Third Season Pass and DLC Details, Sequel Confirmed

THQ has already announced that Saints Row: The Third will have "about 40 weeks worth of downloadable digital content after the launch."  This is great news for any up-and-coming Third Street gangster.  The bad news is that you'll have to pay for it.  This is the company that blocked system link with an online pass, which is not to be confused with the recently announced Saints Row Season Pass.  The Season Pass will net you the first four DLCs for about 15% off.

Retro Never Looked So Good

PixelJunk SideScroller Co-Op Review

Q Games have made quite a name for themselves on the PlayStation 3 with their series of downloadable titles called PixelJunk. We've already seen a lot of great co-op games in the series including PixelJunk Shooter 1 and 2 and PixelJunk Monsters. The latest game is called PixelJunk SideScroller and it shares a lot of similarities with the Shooter titles including some slick visuals, element dynamics, and great music. But just how different is it and how deep is the co-op?

Who Wants Five New Saints Row: The Third Videos? You Do!

Saints Row: The Third comes out next week. You've probably seen a video or two of the game's brazen debauchery on this very sight.  Today we have not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE new videos!  Actually, it's four new videos.  One is a trailer followed by a longer, 13 minutes live action version of Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Climax.  I figured the trailer could serve as a warning before you willingly gave yourself brain damage.  Seriously, it's 13 minutes of WTF.  And remember, picture all of the in-game videos with another player, because the entire game supports two player online co-op!

The Cursed Crusade Co-Op Review

The Cursed Crusade would, on the surface, seem to have a lot going for it. Screenshots looked nice, the altered historical setting seemed interesting, and combat looked to have a lot of variety due to the abundance of weapons and customization. Topping it all off, the game featured two player co-op, in both local and online flavors. Indeed, it sounds promising upon first glance, but the game falls far short of these expectations upon even the briefest scrutiny.

Call of Duty Elite is Still Down Despite 4x Increase in Capacity

Call of Duty: Elite, Activision's premium service for CoD players is still down - 2 full days after the launch of Modern Warfare 3.  The reason is pretty obvious, they were woefully under prepared for the volume of traffic the website and service was going to do.  This really shouldn't come as a surprise, MMO launches on the PC typically have this problem, and while Elite isn't exactly an MMO launch itself - the scale of it seems to be similar.  Some estimates put Modern Warfare 3 on track to sell over 15 million copies across three platforms by the end of the year.

Say Hello to the All Zombies Must Die Family

Some would argue you have to be blood relatives to be a family, but what about if you are covered in blood? The Simpsons Arcade Coming Home at Long Last

When Konami finally brought X-Men Arcade to home consoles last year, thousands of arcade and Marvel Comics fans rejoined. It looks like we’re in for a repeat sometime soon, as an enterprising reader over at XBLA Fans has discovered a rating for Simpsons Arcade from the Australian ratings board. It’s coming to Xbox Live Arcade (and possibly Playstation Network as well).
