So...you never bought The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom for a potential co-op patch. Okay, so you never actually bought The Settlers 7 at all. Well...this news isn't for you, then. But for those of you who do own The Settlers 7 it might be interesting to know that the latest downloadable pack - DLC Pack 4 - is currently available for $4.99 and adds two player co-op support and two co-op exclusive maps, among other things. If you don't feel the urge to expand your experience for a mere fiver, then you'll be delighted to know that a free compatibility patch is available...and it provides the capability to play co-op with anyone else who's installed the patch or DLC Pack 4.

The week following Easter can be rife with indulgence. After giving up something dear to them for the 40 days of Lent, god-fearing people can feel free to get back into bad habits with a gusto. I myself gave up going to church for Lent about 17 years ago. It made me feel so righteous, I haven't been back since. If Easter isn't your thing, that's fine too. While Bethesda as a publisher looks to have its biggest year ever for co-op gamers with Brink, Hunted: The Demon's Forge and RAGE - Bethesda's biggest game this year is the one being developed in house. A continuation of their Elder Scrolls saga, Skyrim is set to release on November 11th of this year on the 360, PS3 and PC. It's an expansive and open ended RPG that is the fifth game in a series that started on PCs back in 1994. But despite its PC roots and open ended feel, the Elder Scrolls games have always lacked multiplayer - something fans clamour for with every new game in the series.
This month's 360 co-op night we're jumping into Portal 2's cooperative mode. Players take control of P-Body or Atlus, two Aperature Science testing robots, and run their course through several puzzles that take four portals and plenty of deaths to solve. Want to join up?

Well, the PC release of Fable III is going to be like that in a way. But no matter which door you choose, the same Fable III goodness is your prize.
You may recall Activision announcing a couple months back that no further DLC would be released for the Guitar Hero franchise. Desperate fans cried out across the interweb, and the powers that be relented, releasing more new songs to download once again. Alas, even the reprieve turned out to be quite brief, and no more DLC is scheduled to be released.
