Monday Night Combat has received a permanent price drop. The competitive/cooperative third person shooter was going for 1200 MSP ($15), but you can pick it up now, and forever, for 800 MSP ($10). Unless, of course, there's a sale.
For This Week in Co-op, Kat and Tally got together online for some much needed recuperation time via Monday Night Combat (on a Monday for once! Crazy!).

It might sound tough, but it's really just Valentine's Day-themed armor. In honor of Valentine's Day, Uber also has a super-sensual music video, "You are My Pitgirl," which you can also see below. It's no "D!@% in a Box," but what is?

About a month and a half ago, XBLA's Monday Night Combat got their title update which consisted of various tweaks and fixes. Upon its launch, they told fans that a free DLC pack was on the way. That DLC, entitled Spunky Cola Special Free DLC, launches tomorrow, packed with new arenas, private game options, balance tweaks, and yes, oh yes, churros! Sounds like a pretty good haul for, well, $0. Read on for the full release notes:
Monday Night Combat is a fine arena shooter for the Xbox LIVE Arcade. We gave it a 4 out of 5 in our review. Fans of the game can now pick up some sweet merchandise from the Uber store. These quality statues stand 9 to 10 inches tall and will run you $69.99 to $89.99.
Monday Night Combat isn't just getting a title update, it's getting free DLC. This info comes via the official Uber Entertainment blog which details the Spunky Cola DLC coming in November.
We gave you guys a heads-up about a month and a half ago on Monday Night Combat's Title Update plans. The patch is now live! The Title Update implements numerous fixes and tweaks gameplay balance, as well as increasing the trial time from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. Players who possess the trial and have already used up their 30 minutes will be granted another 30 minutes.
We were quite impressed with Monday Night Combat, which launched earlier this summer. It did many things right: deep class based gameplay, a good dose of humor, mixing tower defense with a shooter, and, of course, perennial Co-Optimus forum favorite, split-screen online co-op. I know I've had a great time playing the game, as have many others. However, there were a few nagging issues that needed to be addressed, most notably the fact that there's just one co-op map.
What do you get when you cross tower defense, game shows, and shooters? You get Monday Night Combat - an over the top 3rd person shooter with an incredibly deep competitive multiplayer mode and a four player co-op survival mode. Robots and more robots try to steal your money. Can you stop them?
