The fantasy board game adventure is cross-play between PC, VR, and the upcoming PlayStation versions.

Demeo Graduates from Steam Early Access, Is Also Coming to PlayStation 5 in February

In 2021, Resolution Games released Demeo, a VR game, to Steam Early Access. The game soon received a non-VR edition called Demeo: PC Edition which finally graduated from Early Access (and received a new campaign) in December. Demeo is a "cross platform cooperative adventure" that looks and plays like a fantasy-themed board game. Now that the full game has been released, I jumped at the chance to try it out in both 2-player and 4-player online co-op.

River City Girls 2 Out Now on All Platforms and Features Online Cross-Play Co-op!

When we interviewed WayForward about River City Girls 2 just ahead of launch, the developer let slip that their new beat 'em up RPG would feature cross-play. Now the game has launched (in all regions) at last, and it does indeed feature cross-play co-op! Even Xbox and PlayStation gamers can team up together. That makes River City Girls 2 an even more exciting proposition, to say nothing of the huge world, engaging story, fine-tuned combat, and 4-player local co-op.

MultiVersus Now Available in Early Access, Goes Free to Play on July 26

There once was a movie called Space Jam: A New Legacy that combined numerous Warner Bros. characters and properties. It's a very bad movie that should be avoided at all costs! However, the idea of mixing WB properties together clearly has some appeal, hence the new Smash Bros.-style fighting game, MultiVersus. Players who buy any premium edition of MultiVersus can play it right now, but the game will officially launch in free to play form on July 26.

Crossplay co-op coming to PlayStation for the first time in the Borderlands series

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands: CrossPlay, Endgame, and Season Pass Details

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Gearbox and 2K's quirky fantasy-themed Borderlands spinoff, is set to debut on March 25. We've got plenty of new details to share about the game, but the most exciting one has to be that the PlayStation version of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will support crossplay with other platforms, something that Borderlands 3 on PlayStation does not do at present. Xbox and PC will support crossplay as well, so crossplay co-op adventures are in the cards for everybody.

Prepare to team up with space ninjas from other consoles and more.

Warframe Finally Gaining Cross-Play, Cross-Save, and Mobile Version

Warframe, the free-to-play action/shooter RPG, has been trucking along since 2013. Gamers can download the MMO-like space ninja game on all the big platforms, including PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch. As multiplayer-focused games age, though, playerbase becomes an issue. It's hard to make war on the frames if you can't find anybody to play with. Thankfully, that will soon become less of an issue when Warframe gains cross-play and cross-save before the end of the year.

Dauntless Now Available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 With Cross-Play

Today, Phoenix Labs' vision of "One Dauntless" comes true as the action-RPG title is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, AND it supports full cross-play/cross-progression with those consoles and the PC version. Playing on the PS4 but a couple friends are on the PC and another is on the Xbox One? No problem. Get out there and hunt those Behemoths with whomever you want on whatever platform you want.

Xbox friends, or PS4 friends... you must decide!

Xbox One and PC/Mac Cross-Play Support Coming for Fortnite: Save the World

Over the weekend, Epic announced that cross-play and cross-progression support would be added to the Xbox One version at some point of Fortnite: Save the World (PvE co-op) and Fortnite: Battle Royale (PvP) to allow those players to team up with friends on the PC/Mac. While this means that those players will now be able to team up with PS4 players OR Xbox One players when taking on the husks, there is still no cross-play between the PS4 and Xbox One.

Halo Wars 2 Will Receive Cross-Platform Update Later This Month

In their most recent livestream, 343 Industries laid out a number of updates and tweaks they have in the works for Halo 5: GuardiansHalo: The Master Chief Collection, and Halo Wars 2. While most of these tweaks are multiplayer focused or centered around visual enhancements to these titles to make them look better on the forthcoming Xbox One X, there was one co-op friendly piece of news with Halo Wars 2: it soon will support cross-platform play.

Cooperate to solve a murder mystery in this digital adaptation of a board game

Mysterium Co-Op Review

Designer board games are getting quite popular these days, to the point where we’re starting to see quality digital adaptations of them. Though co-op board games are a popular genre (check out Marc’s Tabletop Co-op series), surprisingly few of these games have been adapted from their cardboard forms. Mysterium bucks this trend, being a ...
