It's time for another pair of videos for Co-Op Classics. This week, we look at an early co-op game known more for the characters than the co-op: the original Mario Bros. arcade. Our second video is from the co-op golden age of the early 1990s: Sunset Riders.

Red Dead Redemption has made a comeback amongst the staff, most likely due to the truly excellent DLC just released. With Halloween on the horizon everyone is in the zombie game mode, so Undead Nightmare is the perfect distraction.
Halloween is this weekend and Rockstar has a treat for you! In yet another stunning example of how zombies do indeed make everything better, Undead Nightmare is the fourth DLC for the open world western juggernaut, Red Dead Redemption, and it is the biggest and best one to date. While the previous three DLCs focused on competitive and co-operative multiplayer aspects of the game, Undead Nightmare is a sizeable addition to an already substantial single player experience. In addition to the new single player missions, there are some new co-op modes that gamers can sink their teeth into.
This week in Co-op Nick and Kat struggle to get their Fable III games to connect (claiming the DLC was incompatible, but that didn't seem to matter after Kat got in to her sanctuary to save and restart the game). So we get a late start to the week in co-op, but it's complete humorous banter between a Queen in her realm and a newcomer King out for the wooing. Nevermind that Kings and Queens don't particularly communicate well.
We've got a couple bits of news for you after Rock Band 3's release earlier this week. Ever been listening to the radio, hear a cool song, and think, "Wow, that would be awesome to play in Rock Band. I wonder if it's available?" But, you aren't close to your console to check it out? There's now an app for that, albeit an unofficial one. Called the "RB Song List", the app is free. Now you'll be able to see whether "Wipe Out" is available in Rock Band anywhere you go.
The special Halloween weekend events in hot games just keep on coming, like a good slasher film villain. Epic has raised expectations with a whopping 31 times experience point multiplier in Gears of War 2 from today, October 29, to November 2. So, if you haven't earned all those level up achievements, now is definitely a good time. It's a nice treat from CliffyB and the rest of the Epic crew, but there's a trick, too: Horde mode is a special lancer only mode throughout this event. Yup, that means chainsaw duels all over the place, and you won't be able to interrupt, either, so plenty of gore will be flowing. Sounds like a lot of fun, and with XP earned so easily, we'll temporarily stop lamenting the fact that Gears of War 3 won't be here until next fall.
The original Left 4 Dead is now available for the Mac via Steam, this follows news a few weeks ago that Left 4 Dead 2 was also on the platform. The game is part of the Steam Play series, which means if you own it on one platform you own it on both.
Monday Night Combat isn't just getting a title update, it's getting free DLC. This info comes via the official Uber Entertainment blog which details the Spunky Cola DLC coming in November.
The eagerly awaited free Borderlands patch is going through final approval right now, and it should be up in November. Gearbox Software is having a giant fall season, including the release of Claptrap's New Robot Revolution, the Borderlands Game of the Year Edition, huge sales on their DLC, Duke Nukem Forever news, and a co-op night with us.
