I'll be honest, gang. I didn't think we were gonna make it this week, and yet, and yet, here we are. Another glorious weekend lies just around the corner, and by golly, we're gonna take advantage of it. We better take advantage of it, anyway. I'm holding a quiz Monday morning to make sure everyone had a great time, and if not, they're gonna be thrown in, like, Weekend Jail or something equally terrifying.
Fatshark's Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has been doing quite well for itself since it launched last March on the PC, and just last month on the Xbox One. If you've been enjoying teaming up with your buddies to slay Skaven and the hordes of Chaos, but want to visit a new locale, then you're in luck. "Shadows over Bogenhafen" arrives on August 28 and... well, actually, that's just about all we know.
Spacehulk: DeathWing is getting some DLC today on the PC, with the PS4 version getting its DLC in the coming days. The content is in the form of a new map, Infested Mines, playable in Solo Special Missions and the game's four player online Co-op mode. The focus here is more verticality, with twisting underground caverns and corridors which promises to "strike a balance between terrifying claustrophobia and wide-open battlefields."
Ghost Town Games' Overcooked! 2 arrived last week on every platform, and if you were a fan of the original, then there's even more for you to love here. A new campaign, a new Arcade mode where you can play random levels with friends, new recipes, and new chefs! We dedicated this week's "Let's Play Co-Op" stream to doing our best to fulfill orders in a timely fashion and (mostly) succeeding.

I have no doubt I was sorely missed by my beloved fanbase, but I assure you it was worth it, if for nothing else than the chance to see this dog.
We ran into a few snags with the archive of our Earthfall "Let's Play Co-Op" last week, so we decided we'd go ahead and play it again this week. The good news is that in between the two, developer Holospark announced their development roadmap for the next few months, which gave us a little more to talk about and ponder.
Phoenix Labs' Behemoth-hunting, co-op action-RPG, Dauntless, has been going pretty strong since it hit "open beta" status back in May. Per the developer, the title has surpassed the "two million player milestone." To celebrate and recognize the dedication of its players, there's a free expansion that's getting rolled out over the course of the next few weeks and will add a new Behemoth to hunt, new quests to pursue, and a new weapon to master.
The Left 4 Dead-like, Earthfall, has been out for about a month now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and Holospark, the game's developer, has recently laid out a "development roadmap" for the next few months. There will be a minor update later this month and next month that, collectively, add a couple new missions, enemies, and weapons, and that will pave the way for a big update in October.
