I'll be honest with you right now. Everything in every part of the world is certifiably bonkers. On top of that, the summer heat is nothing if not oppressive. Even further on top of that, Steam just wiped out our wallets thanks to the Summer Sale.
Like many youths on the mean, winding streets of Bland County, Virginia, my capacity to have fun centered around creating fun for myself. Friends usually lived far beyond walking distance, and getting to see them was an event saved for weekends, summer camps, or Boy Scout meetings. Last night the Co-opticrew took to the latest update of the beta version of Orcs Must Die! Unchained - the free to play sequel to one of our favorite co-op games, Orcs Must Die! 2. The game is split into two modes, with one being a competitive MOBA style game and the other more traditional OMD style survival. It's the latter we hit up.

Part of my wish will come true soon enough as the game will be added to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility list this Friday, July 8.
When a Valve employee posted a tutorial on how to import Source assets into the Destinations platform, one screenshot in particular caught the attention of many. Specifically, there was a folder titled "left4dead3."
Celebrate the gaming lull that is the month of July by picking up a few titles on the cheap thanks to Microsoft's "Ultimate Game Sale." The sale kicked off earlier this week and features more than a few co-op titles, like Battleborn, Assassin's Creed: Unity, and Tom Clancy's The Division, at a discount ranging from 20% up to 50% off.
Descendent Studios has been hard at work reviving Descent, the beloved six degrees-of-freedom shooter that first saw release in the mid-90s. After a successful Kickstarter campaign last year, Descent: Underground launched on Steam's Early Access last October with just a handful of the planned/promised features. One of those features, co-op, will see release soon.
