Latest Humble Bundle is all about shanking people, I guess

Get a Decent Collection of Assassin's Creed Games for $15

While it had a number of issues at launch, and even after, Assassin's Creed Unity was still a pretty fun co-op title. Getting a group of friends together to plot and execute a stealthy assassination (before it all inevitably turns into a Benny Hill skit) is the best way to enjoy that game. The latest Humble Bundle lets you get in on the assassination action with that and several other AC titles all for the low, low price of $15.

All about dat loot

Latest Assassin's Creed Unity Update Includes Master Key

One of the elements of Assassin's Creed Unity that I found so odd was the companion app that came along with it. The "Assassin's Creed Inc" mission system - wherein you recruit and send off fellow assassins on missions - had been entirely relegated to this companion app and completing these missions unlocked chests in the main game to get new equipment or money. Hopefully you didn't spend too much time with that app because all of those chests are now unlocked. For free.

Learn The Ins And Outs Of Revolting In New Assassin's Creed Unity DLC

If you're one of those skeptic types who likes to "wait" for games to be "reviewed" before picking them up, then it's likely that you were not privy to the pre-order bonus DLC for Assassin's Creed Unity.  Well, as of a few days ago, you can consider yourself on level ground with those who pre-ordered due to the release of the "Secrets of the Revolution" pack.

But how does one assassinate desiccated remains?

Assassin's Creed Unity Dead Kings DLC Out Now For Free

We're all acutely aware of Assassin's Creed Unity's abysmal launch. Which was your favorite bug? The framerate plummeting to single digits? NPCs falling through the planet? Aw, who am I kidding. It's clearly people's faces melting off, fueling our nightmares for years to come. We knew the French Revolution was rough, but I don't ever recall it being referred to as "a cauldron of supernatural horror." With that said, it is finally time for Ubisoft to make due.

It's almost like getting a new game!

The Fourth Assassin's Creed Unity Patch Will Hopefully Mop Up Remaining Issues

One month after its release, Assassin's Creed Unity is finally nearing a state of competent playability.  The stealth-based action game was absolutely riddled with bugs and framerate issues when it first appeared on shelves, but Ubisoft sought to make good as quickly as possible by providing players with a full list of known issues and then working to remedy them as punctually as possible.  When that was deemed not enough to convince gamers that the company was not, in fact, Satan incarnate, they then discontinued their season pass program, offering compensation in the hopes that it would sate their customers until Unity was in a satisfactory state.

Big month for Ubisoft

Co-Op Monthly Round-Up for November 2014

Hard to believe, but November is over. We're entering the cold winter months with plenty of games to play but very little news or releases. That's ok though as this fall was a monster of a season with more games than we know what to do with. Ubisoft came up big this year with several solid releases, including one that's sneaking in just into December.

Official Apology Issued

Assassin's Creed Unity Season Pass Owners Get Free Game, Everyone Gets Free DLC

Today is a day for apologies apparently. Ubisoft have issued a formal apology for the state of Assassin's Creed Unity at launch - one in which an upcoming patch is needed to fix over 300 bugs. Obviously people are upset and wonder how a AAA title can be released in such an unfinished state. It looks like Ubisoft wants to try to make amends by offering some free goodies.
