A Trio of Co-Op Videos for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

We have three new videos for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, courtesy of GameTrailers- which presents us with a little conundrum.  One of the many hardships that comes with covering video games is the amount of spoilers one can be exposed to if they're not careful.  I'm really looking forward to this game, so I'm trying to present these co-op gameplay videos to you without having actually watched them.

Defend Dungeons Together...Forever (Pants Optional)

The folks at Trendy Entertainment are out to celebrate the heart shaped holiday with special content for Dungeon Defenders.  A brand new challenge map called "Sky o Love" is now available as well as bonuses for pairing up boy and girl characters from the game.  In addition the tavern now has a love is in the air theme and there's four new outfits for your characters - including pants for the Squire.  For shame, I was told pants were optional.

Traveller's Tales have announced over 30 million sales in the popular LEGO Star Wars franchise

LEGO Star Wars Feels the Force of 30 Million Sales

Just a few days ago, in a Galaxy not very far away, the LEGO Star Wars franchise sold over 30 million copies. This number spans the entire series all the way through to LEGO Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars. If 30 million sales was not enough excitement for LEGO developer Traveller's Tales, they are celebrating this landmark by signing an extension to their contract with LucasArts until 2022.

Two New Twisted Metal Videos Cover the Finer Points of Vehicle Combat

Twisted Metal is almost upon us.  The demo has dropped, and no doubt interested parties have already had a taste of the carnage.  I've played the demo, and I've gotten my rear end handed to me on numerous occasions. If you're curious as to whether or not Twisted Metal is the game for you, these two new videos may help.  The first video covers many of the weapons.  It does a pretty good job of explaining how each one can be used to your advantage.  The second video re-hashes a bit of the first, and then it covers some tactics and vehicle profiles.

New Trailer Shows Off Binary Domain's Multiplayer, But Where Is the Co-Op?

We have been pondering the features of Binary Domain's co-op mode since last May.  The third person shooter focuses on a robot uprising in (where else?) near-future Tokyo.  The single player campaign features a "Consequence System" where you will give voice commands to your squad mates.  They'll either listen to you or they won't, depending on how much they trust you.  Great.  Sounds like it'll be just like playing a game with a bunch of house cats.  This seems like the perfect opportunity to allow real life human players to join in the fun.

Co-Op Classics Video Edition: NES Tale

The NES is arguably the greatest video game system of all time. Nintendo's first home console saved the video game industry, and most gamers look back on the system fondly. Recently, I sat down and played through some of my favorite NES games with my son, and recorded the experience for lucky Co-Optimus viewers. In my happy memories, I somehow didn't remember the games being quite this way...
