Sesame Street: Once Upon A Monster Dev Diary Focuses On the Kiddies

The Xbox 360 and Kinect motion controller sold a ridiculous amount of units last week.  If you're a new Kinect owner, and still have some holiday shopping to do for the kids, you may want to check out Sesame Street: Once Upon A Monster.  This new video focuses on the family aspect of the game.  We really liked the title ourselves, giving it a  4.5 out of 5 in our Co-Op Review.  If you want to get your youngsters into gaming, but still want them active, this is a pretty cool option.

New Trailer for Syndicate Is All About the Weapons

Due to the holiday game crush, I somehow missed anything and everything on Syndicate.  I recently managed to catch up on some of the co-op videos, including an 8 minute run featuring four player online co-op.  It's a shooter that looks a little like Brink, which could be good or bad, depending upon your point of view.  This latest trailer showcases some of the weapons that will be available to the player.  "Ooh" and "Ahh" as the sexy computer voice talks about the "19 weapons, 87 attachments, and 25 upgrades."  Be sure to check out the "Super Weapons."  Every game needs super weapons!

Dungeon Defenders Adds 8-Player Co-Op Mode for DLC Purchasers

Recently Dungeon Defenders on Steam released a new piece of DLC called the "Hero Pack."  The $5 content adds four new characters to the game - a female Squire (the Countess), female Apprentice (the Adept), male Hunter (the Ranger) and female Monk (the Initiate).  These aren't just character skin swaps, but actual class changes and tweaks depending on which version of the character you choose.

Ubisoft have been sending out emails to player of CoJ: The Cartel asking what they want from a fourth game

Can We Make Call of Juarez 4 Good?

Wow, that last Techland game I played was excellent.  Not Dead Island, but Call of Juarez: The Cartel!  It had everything; glitches, poor controls, mediocre gameplay - it was ace.  Or perhaps it was not.  Co-Optimus gave the game a limp 2.5 and the co-op was one of its few saving graces.  Can we as a community prevent anything like The Cartel from happening again?  Perhaps we can, if we fill out Ubisoft's questionnaire about a potential 4th game in the series.

Saints Row: The Third Stat Tracking Up and Running

The Saints Row: The Third website has finally got their stat tracking in working order.  Yup, I still have 100% of everything done, but I'm still missing a few chievos.  C'est la vie.  I don't know what I'm more surprised by, the fact that I've only killed 9,660 people or that I've actually put 48 hours into the game.  Where do I find the time? Oh, that's right - I haven't slept more than five hours straight since September 6th.  You can see how much time of your life you've spent in Steelport, (and a host of other stats) by logging into the site.

RUMOR: EA Montreal Working on Army of Four

The Army of Two franchise is calling in reinforcements.  Earlier today Kotaku reported that an "EA insider" has informed them that the third installment of the bro-op franchise will be called Army of Four.  As you can probably figure out, it will support four player co-op.  The previous two titles, both Army of Two, and Army of Two: The 40th day, supported two player local or online co-op (The 40th Day had a four player Extraction mode, as well).

New Trailer for Army Corps of Hell Blends Diablo and Pikmin

This new video for Army Corps of Hell is a head scratcher.  It starts off with some Diablo-esque visuals, then it cues up the death metal, quick cuts, and cartoons. This video is an assault on the senses. I can't really tell what's going on, but it looks like there is an Overlord/Pikmin mechanic at play, and I think the bosses look cool.  It winds down with some minor dismemberment, a little decapitation, and an abundance of blood.  Once you recover from your initial state of "WTF," let us know what you think.

An new image suggest that many of the DC cannon will appear in LEGO Batman 2

DC Heroes Come to LEGO Batman's Rescue

As a superhero, Batman is a bit of a loner.  Except for Alfred.  And Robin.  And Batgirl, Oracle, Commissioner Gordon, the Justice League.  It appears that Batman is no loner at all, he loves to be surrounded by friends and family (as long as he has an up to date dossier of how to destroy them should they turn rogue).  A new image suggests that LEGO Batman is no different and that LEGO Batman 2 may contain more DC heroes than any one supervillain can handle.
