Dead Island is $20 on Steam Today Only, $15 for the Co-Op Pack

It's almost Christmas and the temperatures are getting colder.  What better way to escape the Winter blues than go to an island paradise.  There's one catch - this island paradise is filled with zombies.  Dead Island is available today on Steam for the low price of just $20, or better yet, if you can muster up a group of co-op cohorts you can snag the 4 pack for $60 - that's just $15 each.

Frank West Leaves a Puzzling Message on the Dead Rising Facebook Page

In "Hey, that's not really news!" news, Frank West left a puzzling message on the Dead Rising Facebook page.   (This is what happens when every major game has to be out before that Black Friday/Cyber Monday window.  I hope you're happy, free market.)  Anyway, the message alludes to a new adventure for our favorite war-covering, zombie-masking, erotic photo-taking, cross-dressing photojournalist:

New Dungeon Defenders DLC Sends You on a Quest

We'd like to say that we are somehow precognizant and plan certain things using that incredible knowledge, but sometimes fate just has a way of working out in our favor. Just in time for our latest co-op night, the fine folks at Trendy Entertainment, developers of tower-defending, action-RPGing co-op hit Dungeon Defenders, have released a new piece of DLC that hits Steam today. Titled "Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards," the latest in a string of PC DLC adds more than just a few new character skins and weapons. This time, new missions and challenges have been added as well in what is the first of four such add-ons that will take the young heroes out of the castle and into the lands of Etheria itself. Best of all, this DLC will soon be seeing an XBLA and PSN release as well. A trailer for the DLC and more can be found after the break.

Lets Look at the Technology Behind Syndicate

There's a new video out for Syndicate that takes a look at the in game technology that powers the player's characters.  The agents in the game are utilizing something called the DART chip which allows them to see things other people can't see and do things other people couldn't do.   Want to hack into an enemy and have him turn on his fellow team mates?  You can do that.
