Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Will Improve Some Squad Functionality

While Monster Hunter: World is the most approachable entry in the long-running series, there were still some issues that made it difficulty to co-op with friends whenever you wanted. As we learned from a recent Game Informer Q&A, you'll still have to wait for friends to watch certain mid-mission cutscenes before you'll be able to join them, but a recent developer diary discussing the forthcoming "Iceborne" expansion highlighted one improvement on the co-op front: inviting offline friends to your "Squad."

[Update] Changes on the Way for Necropolis Prior to Console Release

Harebrained Schemes' cooperative rogue-like Necropolis made its debut on the PC last month, and the initial reception was rather mixed. The developer listened to all of this feedback and came up with a plan to address it over the course of the next few months. The latest patch hit a couple weeks back, but there's more in store before the console release.
