Door Kickers: Action Squad left Early Access a couple weeks ago, so Mike and Jason hopped back in to bust down some doors and save some innocents. They mostly succeed.
The Forsaken expansion to Destiny 2 dropped last week, and we've been taking it for a spin recently to see what all Bungie has tweaked, changed, and added. We have five (yes, five!) "Let's Play Co-Op" videos for you today as show off different parts from the game and provide some in-depth impressions of this new DLC.
Terrible Posture Games' MOTHERGUNSHIP finally got its co-op update last week, so Mike and Jason strapped themselves into some mech suits, got their allen wrenches and spare IKEA parts, and set about making some space guns. While there are a few issues we have with it, MOTHERGUNSHIP is a really fun FPS that harkens back to the days of DOOM and Quake.
Ghost Town Games' Overcooked! 2 arrived last week on every platform, and if you were a fan of the original, then there's even more for you to love here. A new campaign, a new Arcade mode where you can play random levels with friends, new recipes, and new chefs! We dedicated this week's "Let's Play Co-Op" stream to doing our best to fulfill orders in a timely fashion and (mostly) succeeding.
We ran into a few snags with the archive of our Earthfall "Let's Play Co-Op" last week, so we decided we'd go ahead and play it again this week. The good news is that in between the two, developer Holospark announced their development roadmap for the next few months, which gave us a little more to talk about and ponder.
The latest title to use the Warhammer 40,000 license, Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War, dropped onto the PC a couple weeks ago, and this past Monday, Nick and Jason teamed up to see what it has to offer within the 4x genre.
It's been a year almost to the day since we last checked out Space Hulk: Deathwing. At that time, the game had received just a few of the updates that would eventually be bundled together in the "Enhanced Edition." That version was released this past May for PC and PlayStation 4 so we decided to hop back in and see how things were looking these days in the grim dark future (aka 2019).
After a brief delay, Neocore Games' Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr has finally arrived on the PC (next month for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One). We took the game for a spin last fall when it was still in Early Access, and it's definitely progressed quite a bit since then. If you missed our "Let's Play Co-Op" stream this week, enjoy the recap video below!
This week during our regular "Let's Play Co-Op" Monday night stream, Nick and Jason are an intrepid duo that must fight off zombies and build a community that cares in State of Decay 2. Also, Jason has some fun with car doors.
For this week's "Let's Play Co-Op" stream (every Monday night at 10:00 pm EDT), Nick, Mike, Locke, and Jason hopped into Eden Rising: Supremacy, which hit Early Access last week. This third-person exploration/tower-defense title definitely has potential, and it has a very solid co-op experience at its core.
The latest expansion for Destiny 2 dropped last week, and as was the case with the "Curse of Osiris" expansion from last December, "Warmind" adds a new planet, a new NPC, some new gear, and a handful of campaign missions. It also brings with it, unfortunately, a long grind.
