Guacamelee! 2, the sequel to one of our favorite titles of 2013, has been available since August of this year and allows players to power-bomb all new enemies in all new environments. One of the main ways the game spices up its four player local co-op is through the use of different "skins", which each player can select and use to alter their playstyle.
QC Games' action-RPG dungeon crawler, Breach, will be leaving the closed, technical Alpha phase next month, and moving into full on Early Access on Steam. While the title will eventually be free-to-play, you will need to buy into it during the Early Access phase if you want to check it out.

The first of several co-op DLCs arrived last week for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Dubbed "The Forge," everyone's favorite freebooter of sepulchers will face a number of fiery challenges as she explores a new challenge tomb and attempts to uncover the secrets of Kuwaq Yaku. The Forge can be played solo or with a friend online.
The next title from CCP Games, currently called Project Nova, has a new teaser trailer that sets up some of the sci-fi elements of this FPS that’s still wrapped up in some mystery, but of more interest to us is the twenty minutes of gameplay (courtesy of IGN) that shows off some of the “tactical co-op PvE” elements that the title touts. The setting appears to be on top of a spaceship and the baddies getting shot appear to be robots with damage numbers that pop out upon bullet contact, with four players working together to capture strategic points and defend them against the A.I. controlled robots.
Astroneer, everyone's favorite game about being a wacky astronaut, will be released in full just a few months from now. No longer will your terraforming be plagued by thoughts surrounding the impermanence of Early Access. Instead, come February 6th, 2019, you can scour a planet for resources with the knowledge that all is as it should be.
It took awhile, but I finally had fun in OVERKILL's The Walking Dead. The game is a new four player co-op shooter out now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from the makers of the PayDay series. While everyone's mind immediately goes Left 4 Dead, the game is anything but.
