The next title from CCP Games, currently called Project Nova, has a new teaser trailer that sets up some of the sci-fi elements of this FPS that’s still wrapped up in some mystery, but of more interest to us is the twenty minutes of gameplay (courtesy of IGN) that shows off some of the “tactical co-op PvE” elements that the title touts. The setting appears to be on top of a spaceship and the baddies getting shot appear to be robots with damage numbers that pop out upon bullet contact, with four players working together to capture strategic points and defend them against the A.I. controlled robots.

Astroneer, everyone's favorite game about being a wacky astronaut, will be released in full just a few months from now.  No longer will your terraforming be plagued by thoughts surrounding the impermanence of Early Access.  Instead, come February 6th, 2019, you can scour a planet for resources with the knowledge that all is as it should be.

It took awhile, but I finally had fun in OVERKILL's The Walking Dead. The game is a new four player co-op shooter out now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from the makers of the PayDay series. While everyone's mind immediately goes Left 4 Dead, the game is anything but. 

The Co-Opticrew is fending off the cold weather the best way we know how - by ignoring it entirely and huddling around a kitchen table or LED screen.  It hasn't been scientifically proven that the body craves cooperative gameplay at lower temperatures, but it hasn't been disproved either.  So, you know, I'm gonna chalk that one up as a universal truth for the time being.

Earthfall, the four player co-op alien shooter, is free this weekend on Steam. Players can jump in and check out all the major new features and improvements from the Invasion Update that includes a horde mode and player progression system.

The Cloud MIX is an intersection between the well-established HyperX Cloud headset line and a new venture into mobile-focused gaming, making the name “MIX” an apt descriptor.

Tesla vs Lovecraft, the top-down twin stick shooter from developer 10tons, has been festering in our collective stomachs since its release in January of 2018.  Its nutrients have almost been fully absorbed at this point, so it's a good thing the game's next course is coming our way in early December.

For The King's unique blend of JRPGs, strategy games, and roguelikes has intrigued the staff at Co-Optimus to no end. Fortunately for us, there's a new batch of free DLC coming later this month, so all that time spent staring at the game, mouths agape, will hopefully come in handy.

Fatshark Games' time as developer of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (as well as its predecessor) has mostly been forward-thinking.  Since releasing the game in March of this year, the Stockholm-based studio has sought ways to enhance their first person bashing simulator through the addition of new stages or unique items.  This time, though, their inspiration has come from the distant year of 2015.

Aces of the Luftwaffe - Squadron is receiving some new content today, in the form of new levels, six new bosses, and enhanced cooperative play. The DLC is called Nebelgechwader and follows an alternative view of the events of the base game.
