It's officially the spookiest month of the year and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is getting in the spirit with "Willard Wyler's Halloween Scream." Willard Wyler, if you remember, is the enigmatic director (voiced by Paul Reubens) that dishes out all those challenges for you and your squad in the Zombie Mode. This special event runs until November 1, and includes Double XP events, a new co-op game mode, and some other Halloween-themed goodies.

Microsoft continues to please owners of the Xbox One with more additions to its Backwards Compatibility program, with the most recent members of the family being a slew of Halo titles, including Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4 (Disc Version only).

Digital Extremes' long-running free-to-play action title, Warframe, is receiving quite the impressive update this week. While the Canadian developer has been releasing story/event updates with some regularity, the "Plains of Eidolon" update is a whole new undertaking. Space ninjas can now explore an entirely open-zone area complete with a city hub, vendors, enemies to fight, and gigantic foes to overcome.

Well, it's the gosh darn weekend already.  How about that?  The Co-Opticrew has mostly escaped Bungie's grasp for the time being, but we're all still in the throes of Sequel Town.  We're gonna have to churn through our follow-ups of choice, though, as release season is already getting hot and heavy.  Don't be surprised if, one month from now, our weekend plans are replaced by desperate gurgles as we attempt to not drown in a sea of new video games.

We're a little over a week away from Rebellion bringing back the Rogue Trooper with Rogue Trooper Redux. In anticipation of its impending release, the UK developer has put a new trailer that covers all the basics and, more importantly, discusses the online co-op modes.

It's been awhile since I thought on Farming Simulator 17, and the terrible things Locke, Mike, and Nick did to my farm/crops... Anyways, if you, too, want to enjoy all the rewards of tilling, sowing, and harvesting without the actual hot, sweaty work, then GIANTS Software has you covered. The Platinum Edition of Farming Simulator 17 arrives next month and brings with it a new location to setup your farm, a new crop, and some new sexy farming equipment.

Dominic Toretto and his crew of miscreants are heisting their way back onto The League of Rocketing once more.  Despite the game's Autumn Update still being relatively fresh, the gang at Psyonix refuses to rest on their laurels.  Starting October 11th, two brand new Fast & Furious cars will be available for purchase.

Inti Creates' homage/remake of the original NES Blaster Master, Blaster Master Zero, has received a new update that adds a new "Boss Blaster" mode. Best of all, it also adds a co-op version of this mode that allows two players (locally) to work together to tackle all those baddies.

If you're looking for more PvE activities to do within Epic's crafting/building/shooter game, Fortnite, then you're in luck! A whole new mode, called "Save the World," has been added in today's update and it features new heroes, weapons, and defenders that can be obtained by playing and completing this challenge.

Total War: WARHAMMER II arrived last Thursday, bringing with it the opportunity to play as spell-casting frogs, the darkest of elves, the highest of elves, and some other race that probably isn't worth mentioning. Mike and Jason took it for a spin last night and discussed what's new from the previous entry, and how the co-op works this time around.

N(Plus Plus), the all-action, no-frills platformer from Metanet Software, has completed the journey to the Xbox One in an "Ultimate Edition" format.  There aren't a ton of co-op platformers out there as pure as the N series, so it's nice to see that owners of Microsoft's flagship console can join in on the fun.
