Now with 200% more robotic dismemberment!

NeuroVoider Officially Out Today On Steam, Gets Deluxe Edition

Nietzsche once said, "That which does not kill us, makes us stronger."  I'm pretty sure he was referring to mental strength there, but it's entirely possible that he was predicting the core mechanic of NeuroVoider, a game centered around destroying your robotic enemies and subsequently attaching parts of their dismembered body onto your own.  Who's to say, really?

Pit People Enters Xbox One Closed Beta On September 8th

To be honest, if someone were to call me a "pit person", I'd be vaguely offended, but I'm not quite sure why.  I suppose I'll have to get used to it, though, as people will be slinging that term around all willy-nilly once The Behemoth's Pit People hits closed beta for Xbox One on September 8th.  Soon enough, forums will be rife with topics titled "Check out my new yaoi pitfic", "How 2 be best NA pit person in ranked", and "Petition for the devs to add more varied sizes of pits".  I await their arrival with bated breath.

Mutant Football League Looking to Make a Return

Sega fans may remember a title from the early 90s that was a different take on the usual football games called Mutant League Football. The title was built using the Madden '93 game engine, but it featured the kind of arcade-style football action that would later inspire titles like NFL Blitz. In honor of its 20th anniversary, the original creator and lead designer, Michael Mendheim, is working to revive the title under a new name, Mutant Football League, for the modern console generation.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Filthy Casuals

Folks, we're really dropping the ball this weekend.  I don't mean, like, "Our roadie, Lenny, forgot to plug in our guitars" levels of ball-dropping.  I'm talking fully-fledged, "Lenny sold all our equipment and escaped to Mexico City" ball-dropping.  Not only are we not playing new and interesting video games, we're instead "tossing the pigskin" and "leveling our Dwarf Shaman" like total scrublords.  Get this, some of us aren't even playing games this weekend.  What are we, Teen Vogue?  I was ready to shut the whole thing down, honestly, if it weren't for Locke hoisting the Obscurity Torch.

New Legendary Lords Featured in Next Total War: WARHAMMER DLC

Prior to the game's release, Creative Assembly laid out their DLC plans for Total War: WARHAMMER on the Total War Wiki. In addition to the Race Pack, which we saw with the Beastmen, and the "Free-LC," the British developer would also be releasing Lord Packs that would contain two new Legendary Lords, new units, and new "Units of Renown." The first one of these packs, "Grim and the Grave," will be released next week.
