United you stand. Divided you fall.

[E3 2014] - The Division's Co-op Is What All Co-op Should Be

By now you should be familiar with The Division’s gameplay demo presented during the Microsoft Media Briefing at E3. During the demo, players worked together to capture and establish a base of operations in the barren wasteland that once was New York City. I was able to see hands off co-op gameplay of what happens after the demo, and how tactical cooperation is a necessity in the land of The Division.

[E3 2014] - Fable Legends Hands on Co-Op Impressions

The Fable series has long been a staple in Microsoft's portfolio, so it should be no surprise to see a new game coming to the Xbox One. What might be surprising for some though is that instead of a single player adventure with a buddy co-op system like we've seen in the past, Fable Legends is a fully designed four player co-op experience with an optional player controlled dungeon master. The focus of the game isn't necessarily on story, though we were promised there would be plenty of context, but instead on replayability and goods.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris Gameplay Video; Online Co-Op at Launch

E3 showed us our first glimpse of Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, a direct sequel to 2010's sleeper hit Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and we've got the gameplay to show it off. This new title features the dual-wielding hard-edge babe from the Tomb Raider: Legends universe, and not the quivering, genuinely terrified college-student turned furious mass murderer of undead samurai from the 2013 reboot.

Our eyes on demo of Dead Island 2 gameplay at E3 2014

[E3 2014] - Dead Island 2 Is Wacky and Potentially Awesome

A few months after the events of the first Dead Island, the infection spread to the continental United States and the state (island?) of California has been quarantined by the government. While the zombie outbreak is under control in Dead Island 2, there are still uninfected humans inside the quarantine zone. The catch here is that these uninfected...

A beast for co-op gamers

[E3 2014] - Evolve Hands on Impressions

Let's face it, Left 4 Dead gave us an explosion of co-op games after it's success. Turtle Rock Studios' title was one that showed us you didn't have to necessarily compete to have a replayable multiplayer game. Their next outing is a hybrid multiplayer game, and while there's some competitive elements present, they aren't necessary. Evolve is all about 4vs1 and while that might seem like the sides are unbalanced, the reality is the matches are much more closer than you'd think.

[E3 2014] - Day 3 Wrap-Up Video

Day 3 was just as packed as the rest of the show and we had a blast chatting with Ted Price of Insomniac Games about Sunset Overdrive. We hit up Activision to check out that Destiny joint and some Skylanders Trap Team action. After that was some Helldivers and we wrapped up the day with The Witcher 3. ...
