Binary Domain came out a week ago with little fanfare. It features a rather forgettable name with some less than inspiring box art. With two small strikes already against it, I prepared myself for the arduous task of slugging through another generic sci-fi shooter. I should know better than to judge a game by its cover. As a fan of a the Mass Effect franchise, possibly my favorite franchise of this generation, the suspense of picking up a copy of the sequel is killing me. I want the story. I want the music. I want the co-op. I want Mass Effect 3.
Paradox Interactive, publishers of Magicka, have announced a brand new Action/RPG for the PC. The game is called DungeonLand and it looks like a silly take on the genre. In it, the Evil Dungeon Master has created a nefarious theme park for our adventurers to fight their way through, collecting loot and silly hats along the way.
Assassin's Creed 3 was revealed this week, the first true sequel to the series since being introduced Ezio back in Assassin's Creed 2. The new game is set during a setting rarely touched in video games - The American Revolution.
A bold statement like All Zombies Must Die does not sit easily with me. What about the random zombie who appears to still have some sort of brain process, don't they deserve to live? What am I saying, of course these flesh eating, panic causing, stench releasing deadites need to die! PSN and XBLA owners have been doing just this since December last year and now Steam players will get the chance when All Zombies Must Die is released on the12th March.
Stop me if you've heard this before -- Inversion, Namco Bandai's gravity defying shooter, has been delayed. Again. I'm not going to say this is a bad thing, but I'm going to go ahead and say this isn't good. The game looks like it has a lot of potential. Check out this trailer here. Pretty badass, am I right? Sure, the main character looks a little generic, but at least he's upside down. That's got to count for something, doesn't it?
Are you ready, gamers? March is absolutely packed with co-op titles. It seems like there's at least one highly anticipated co-op game launching every week of the month. It will be interesting to see how many games get swallowed up by the yawning maw of want and need that is Mass Effect 3.

Modern Warfare 3 is getting it's first "content drop" on March 29th, which includes the first three maps that were previously only available to Call of Duty Elite subscribers as well as more content for March. The new content for March includes two Spec-Ops co-op missions; Black Ice and Negoiator. This "content drop" is purchasable by players who did not opt in for a premium Call of Duty Elite subscription.
Kung Fu Strike: The Warrior's Rise looks to be the first Dynasty Warriors-style beat-em-up on Xbox Live Arcade. Set in Ancient China, players take on the role kung fu master General Loh as he fights to keep his country from being torn apart by three warring factions. The first two screenshots for Halo 4 have apparently been leaked online. The two screens show only the revamped Master Chief and seem to try to showcase the game's new lighting engine.
