Still good news, even though we're only thinking about the pre-sequel.

Borderlands 2 Sale and Free Weekend on Steam

Not a lot has been going on in the world of Borderlands 2 lately. The last piece of DLC, Sir Hammerlock Versus the Son of Crawmerax, was released months ago. The PS Vita port is old news. Even the special colorblind mode isn't so exciting anymore. But still, nobody's going to complain when the game goes free for the weekend with an enormous 75% off sale!

My Warface is Steaming Mad

Warface may have been on out the PC for quite some time, in fact, it was released in Russian territories almost two years ago. It ran on a new platform for Crytek called GFace, with a closed beta in EU and NA territories on the PC. Shortly afterwards it was followed by an actual closing of the game as they retooled and rebooted the service. After relaunching, it also found itself on Xbox 360 where it launched as one of the few free to play titles on that console.

Get in the arena

AirMech Arena Closed Beta Starts July 23rd

If giant transforming robots of destruction are your thing (insert Michael Bay reference here) than AirMech Arena might be right up your alley. This free to play title combines the fast pace of a top down shooter with real time strategy elements, while also throwing some MOBA action into the arena. AirMech Arena, from Ubisoft and Carbon Games, will see a release this summer on Xbox 360, but not before the closed beta which runs July 23 - 29.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for iOS Releasing in North America

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is releasing on iOS in North America. When you first hear the news you're probably like "What? Seriously?". When you watch the video showing some of the touch controls you'll just sort of nod to yourself, quietly thinking that it makes sense, but virtual controls for Monster Hunter? What? Seriously? The shock soon wears off and you're left with a curious, somewhat pleasant sensation akin to eating just the right amount of blueberry pie.
