Gotta get back, back to the past.

The Next Warhammer: Vermintide 2 DLC Is Out In December

Fatshark Games' time as developer of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (as well as its predecessor) has mostly been forward-thinking.  Since releasing the game in March of this year, the Stockholm-based studio has sought ways to enhance their first person bashing simulator through the addition of new stages or unique items.  This time, though, their inspiration has come from the distant year of 2015.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Casting The Ballot

The results are in, and it turns out the Co-Opticrew is violently opposed to even remotely showing any bias towards a single game, at least based on our weekend plans.  Maybe it's for the best, though, as we'll now have all sorts of fun, unique anecdotes to share on Monday.  If our staff wasn't based all over the world (and if water coolers were still a thing that people used), we'd be standing around them the whole day.

Fortnite's Save the World Co-Op Mode Staying "Pay to Play" for Now

It's been planned for sometime, in fact, Epic Games have said that Fortnite's "Save the World" co-op mode would go free to play to match the success of the Battle Royale mode by the end of 2018. But in the latest blog post from the game's developer, it looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer till more folks can get their hands on the co-op play without dropping some hard earned cash.

A hybrid F2P co-op action RPG that is way more than the sum of its parts

Breach Hands On Impressions and Developer Interview

QC Games unveiled their debut title, Breach, a couple months ago during this year's Gamescom. Billed as a third-person, co-op action RPG, there weren't a lot of details about what the game actually was at first. After getting my hands on it for a bit, I can see why. This might be one of the hardest titles I've ever had to describe while also being one of the most fun.
