Astro Gaming have launched their latest and greatest headset, the Astro Gaming A50 wireless headset, the sequel to the Astro A40 wired headsets. We're a big fan of a quality headset here at Co-Optimus, communication is key in cooperative games, so a good headset is an important tool. We went ears on with the Astro A50's at E3 and were super impressed with the quality.
Left 4 Dead 2's Cold Stream DLC is finally out on PC today, with your copy auto-updating via Steam as soon as you open it. The campaign has been in beta for months, but is now finally available to the masses. The cost to you, keyboard and mouse lovers, is a mere $0. That's right - it's totally free for some more co-op zombie slaying.

A Virus Named TOM has got itself a fancy new trailer. The four player cooperative puzzle game launches next week, offering a welcome oasis in the summer gaming drought. AVNT in more than a simple circuit puzzle game.. It features 50 single player levels and 50 co-op levels, plus a Battle mode and unlockable upgrades. It's time once again for some Tabletop Co-Op! This month, we're taking a look at an expansion to one of the board games we've previously featured here at Co-Optimus: Defenders of the Realm. Since the original is my favorite co-op board game, I eagerly grabbed the first expansion, and absolutely love it. The Dragon Expansion, as it is called, adds more customization options, variant rule sets, and, best of all, new generals for the heroes to fight against. (And they are even painted!)

Battlefiled 4 has been confirmed by Electronic Arts in a video on the official Medal of Honor website. In true EA fashion, customers who pre order Medal of Honor: Warfighter will receive access to the Battlefield 4 beta. Reverb Games have announced a release date for Double Dragon: Neon for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. The game is set to release on September 11th for $9.99 or 800 . It'll feature two player local or two player online co-op as players assume the role of the Dragon brothers in a reimagining of the classic game.
