Star Wars Battlefront 2 may almost be almost be three years old, but the game is still going strong. Yesterday to celebrate the unofficial Star Wars holiday (or possibly official?) May the 4th, EA had the game on sale for just $6. And while it's back up to a price of $16 dollars today, it's still a steal with a ton of content to play and enjoy.
Combo Co-Op, if you didn't know, is the ability to mix a co-op game with both local and online players at the same time. It's one of the only features Streets of Rage 4 doesn't support out of the box. Thanks to Twitter user @SolKeizer26 though - we've found a workaround to at least get 3 players going in remote play on PS4.
Few games have captured the creative and adventurous hearts of gamers like the crafting and combat heavy Terraria. The title has managed to keep its longevity over the years with a steady stream of updates ever since its initial PC release back in 2011. However, it appears the newest update, “Journey’s End,” will possibly be one of the final (development) chapters in the long running saga that is Terraria.
Gears are turning around the world as folks create plans for re-emergence, but Co-Optimus HQ is still buckled down for the foreseeable future. That's not the worst situation, though, as there are plenty of new games to sink our pale, sterile claws into. Maybe when summer rolls around, we'll start looking wistfully out our windows again, but for now, things are golden.
Streets of Rage 4 is out today, the first true Streets game in 26 years. You can read our review of Streets of Rage 4 right here, needless to say, we've been thrilled. Sega's phenomenal co-op strategy game, Total War: Shogun 2, may not have been lost to time, but it's certainly fallen a bit by the wayside in light of Sega's more recent iterations on the Total War franchise. Thanks to the current pandemic, though, it's been given one more shot at the limelight.
Victory reigns supreme this weekend at Co-Optimus HQ. Whether it's a cross-country move or a really hard platformer, we've met the task head-on and thoroughly conquered it. Unless, that is, you include bonus DLC, like extra levels or all the things that need to be done after a cross-country move. The modern remake of the classic game series, Bubble Bobble, has finally made its way to the Nintendo Switch. Bubble Bobble 4 Friends lets you trap and pop your foes with up to four players on your couch (thus the name) so even more buddies can enjoy the bubble-popping fun.
