Dark, Golden and Heroic Ages Incoming!

Civilization VI Rise and Fall Update Detailed

After months of silence, Firaxis has quenched our thirst for details on the Rise and Fall update for Civilization VI (that’s 6, in good ol’ Roman) that was announced last year. Originally revealed back in November 2017, the latest details explain the planned additions in more depth, including religions playing a prominent role, different governors and their influence, the ways a Dark, Golden or Heroic age can diminish or amplify gameplay, and much more.

Windows 10 Version of Final Fantasy 15 Will Support Cross-Platform Play

Amidst all that talk of how the Windows version of Final Fantasy XV will take up 170 Gb of storage space for the highest of res graphics, there was an interesting little tidbit that popped up on the Microsoft Store listing for the title. That particular version of the game will allow you to team up with friends on the Xbox One to play the Comrades content together.

"Kitty Chopper: Neon Aerial Vengeance" was my band in high school.

Bleed 2 Guns Its Way Onto PS4 Today, Xbox One Feb 9th

We've got kind of a bad-news, good-news situation on our hands. Bad news: the world is only down to one superhero, and it's being invaded by a mixture of limbless but hostile cat aliens, and magical girls.  Good news: the remaining superhero is the Greatest Of All Time, when she's not too busy binging B-movie horror flicks to save the world. Bleed 2  finally breaks away from PC solitude to launch on consoles.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Retros And Palicoes

Well, wouldn't you know it.  There's a fancy-lookin' co-op game out, and the whole Co-Opticrew (myself included) has dropped everything so they can watch, mouths agape, as its dinosaurs do dinosaur things.  Can you blame us, though?  I mean, those dinosaurs are like, really pretty.  Also, who can argue with a cat that fights for you and loves you and I want them to be my forever friend oh my god.

The Capcom crossover you never knew you wanted

Dress Up Like Ryu Later This Month in Monster Hunter: World

Monster Hunter: World has been out for less than a week, but it appears that it's already pretty popular around the globe. Certainly there are a few of us on staff that have been enjoying our time in the New World tracking and bringing down Anjanaths, Pukei-Pukeis, and Barroths. If you're out there, too, having fun "hunning mons" with your friends, then Capcom's got a treat in store for you next month: free Street Fighter V costume DLC.
