One of the most beloved titles for my TI-99/4A was Tunnels of Doom, which combined my love for swords and sorcery with my obsession with computers. It was a very early, primitive iteration of the computer role playing game, a genre that has been amazingly popular for almost three decades.
The Dead Island trailer not only surprised us with its deep emotional nature, it managed to surprise and get the attention of numerous folks in the movie industry. Rumors have been circulating that the Dead Island IP has already been optioned off for a movie by Union Entertainment. Deep Silver, the game's publisher and IP holder, sent out a press release this morning to set the record straight.
If you haven't beaten the single player campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops - you'd only have one zombie map at your disposal for the four player co-op survival mode. If you didn't take the time to explore the menu area of the game, you'd also be missing out on the game's other co-op mode - Dead Ops Arcade - a top down shooter. Lucky for you, this weekend Activision is unlocking both of those options for a limited time.

Codemasters have announced a release date for Operation Flashpoint: Red River. That date is April 21st in the EMEA region and April 26th in North America. The game features four player co-op throughout the campaign as well as numerous single co-op missions that are customizable. It'll launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

As the now May 2011 (delayed again) release of F.E.A.R. 3 creeps ever closer, we’re seeing a bit more information about the co-op that will either make or break the game for a lot of us. The one feature the co-op has that is unique to F.E.A.R. 3 is what is called “Divergent Co-op.” This just means you’re playing the game together, but the players go off on their own.
