New Diablo 3 Screen Shots from LeipzigAugust 20th, 2008 at 9:28 AM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

Blizzard has just sent out a fresh batch of screen shots for Diablo 3.   Currently the game is set to support five players in the co-op based story.   But the biggest revelation from the screen shots is the fact that each class has both a male and a female version of the character - furthering adding onto the MMO-esque nature of the latest Action RPG.   We see both a male and female Barbarian, and some other screens show a Female Witchdoctor (we previously saw a male one).

Blizzard had sent out a press release with some more details on this, but it seems to have since been pulled.  I'm not entirely sure why.  So for now feast your eyes on the rainbows and unicorns and pay no attention to the gigantic 40 foot tall behemoth with blades for his hands.  He only wants to bake a cake with you.

All 12 screens are posted after the read more link.

Too Human "World Serpent" Screens - Game Length DiscussedAugust 08th, 2008 at 10:45 AM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

With Too Human right around the corner screens like these seem like a big tease.  It's nice to finally see some new enviornments though.  From what we can tell from the info that came along with them, the "World Serpent" is some huge mile long battleship in the game.  Whether it's a level or a boss or simply part of the mythology is yet to be seen.  For now enjoy these 9 new screenshots.

Also, you may have noticed we are running an ad for Too Human to the right.  If you haven't preordered the game yet I highly encourage you to do so via the ad.  We might just have some exclusive stuff coming up in regards to the game, so keep your eyes peeled!

In other Too Human news, Kikizo had an interview with Denis Dyack in which he talks about the game's length.  He stated that it should take about 15 hours on your first playthrough, but to max out any character you are looking around 15-80 hours of gameplay.

Screenshots after the jump.

Resident Evil 5 Co-Op Screens and ImpressionsJuly 22nd, 2008 at 12:03 PM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

Unveiled officially at the Microsoft Press Conference, Resident Evil 5's gameplay will be built entirely around co-op.  The co-op is a first for the series, one that traditionally is about lone wolf style survival, but it's a welcome addition.  The developers aren't cutting any corners either, making sure to design levels with co-op in mind.

One example showed Chris and his partner Sheva on the run from a horde of zombies.  As they ran up a broken down building they came across a chasm they couldn't jump across.  So Chris gave her a boost and launched her across.  Both players then continued to cover each other from afar as the zombie onslaught continued.  Other such enviornmental puzzles were shown, areas where the two would split up and the other character would need to unlock a door, or break down an area to allow the other person through.

The game looked incredibly gorgeous set in a run down African town.  Even though there was lots of browns, the lighting just made everything pop.  There's no word on exactly what the co-op specific features are yet, only that it will be playable online.   Hopefully the game will support drop in and drop out play as well as split screen.  I don't want to limit my zombie killing options after all.

We've posted 10 new screenshots of Resident Evil 5 Co-Op for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 after the break.
