So, you know how Contra is a made-up fictional thing that only exists as a video game franchise, right? Well, no, wrong, actually. Because co-opping and shooting all the things isn't enough, the toy makers at NECA are pushing out Contra action figures for the eight year old inside us all.
Why should I bother paying up to $60 a year just to get Xbox Gold and play co-op online, when I can play local co-op for free? Does this sound like you? If so, you may be interested to hear that Xbox 360 owners will get access to multiplayer for free this weekend, including all those lovely online co-op titles.

Now it's time for some Terraria news! No, this has nothing to do with a secret new PC patch or the nifty Terraria: Otherworld. This is a good old fashioned update for the console version of the game, nudging it up to version 1.2.3 so it finally catches up to the items and features in the PC release.
