Because it wasn't silly enough

Fruit Ninja Kinect Getting a Sci-Fi Theme

Every so often I get inspired to get my lift on so I can maintain my massive Torgue-like physique. Then I see the layer of dust on my Thigh Master, Ab Roller, and Shake Weight and I lose all interest. Lucky for me, I have a Kinect! Sure, it's dusty too, but I don't have to touch it. I find that a few minutes of playing Fruit Ninja Kinect each month is just enough exercise to keep me alive. I haven't died yet, so the science must be right!

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel Dev Diary Explains the Overkill Meter

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is attempting to reinvent the series. According to Visceral Games' Greg Rizzer, there will be a lot less bro-y hijinks and a lot more serious business. The latest developer diary from "PWNED," EA's in-house house gaming magazine, explores some of the new features of the third person shooter. Alpha and Bravo don the masks of the T.W.O. and go to war against a deadly drug cartel. Remember, everyone they kill had it coming.

Sega Vintage Collection: ToeJam and Earl Collection Co-Op Review

The ToeJam & Earl series is fondly remembered by people who played the Sega Genesis, including yours truly. Sadly, the series remains largely forgotten by everyone else, despite ToeJam & Earl III appearing exclusively on the original Xbox. The cause may stem from SEGA not actually owning the characters. The rights belong to one of the series’ two creators, Greg Johnson. Thankfully he worked out a deal with SEGA, who have just released the first two games as SEGA Vintage Collection: ToeJam & Earl.

FarCry 3 Co-Op Campaign Trailer Introduces the Cast

FarCry 3 is out next week on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.  The game was a surprise for us at E3 earlier this year when it boasted an entirely new co-op campaign along side the game's single player campaign.  While details have been scarce, today's trailer reveals the mode's four playable characters as well as some of the story.

Bungie's Destiny Details Continue to Leak, First Images Surface

Bungie seems to be having a tough time keeping the lid on their upcoming project code named Destiny.  After some details leaked from an internal demo a few weeks back, we now have actual concept art, story, and more leaked via a marketing firm.  Instead of denying or downplaying the leak, Bungie actually went and confirmed it and released their own concept art image on their site to match the ones that IGN received via the leak.

A Deck Building Card Game with Marvel Heroes

Tabletop Co-Op: Legendary

In recent years, the deck building genre of card games has become very popular. Dominion hit the scene in 2008, and was a smash hit. In addition to a host of expansions for that game, many other deck building games have been published. One thing that was missing from the genre, though, was cooperation. The subject of this installment of Tabletop Co-Op, Legendary, introduces Marvel super heroes into the deck building genre, and adds co-op too!

Borderlands 2 "Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage" DLC Impressions

Borderlands 2 dropped some more DLC love on us before the holiday break. "Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage" is the second story add-on for the addictive shooter-looter franchise. It blasts onto the scene amidst some of the biggest launches of the year. Does Mr. Torgue have enough explosive charisma to distract veteran Vault Hunters from Black Ops 2 and Halo 4? Yes. Briefly.

ArmA 2 Mod Allows for 100 Player Co-Op

Normally when we talk about adding a ridiculous amount of players to a co-op game, it doesn't quite work out like we hoped.  The same can't be said for the military tactical game ArmA 2.   There's a mod in the works that is being dubbed as the "Headless AI Client" and it's allowing for some truly impressive battles to take place featuring dozens, even hundreds, of players with realistic and intelligent AI while still maintaining solid frame rates.

A launch trailer for Trine 2 The Director's Cut

Trine 2 on the Wii U is a Director's Cut Above the Rest

If first you don't succeed, Trine and Trine again.  This is exactly what Frozenbyte Games have done with their superb Trine 2.  Releasing the exact same game that has graced other consoles on the Nintendo Wii U was just not good enough.  Therefore, they launched Trine 2: The Director's Cut, the original sequel with added extras.  Check out the launch trailer if you don't believe me.
