Sniping has always been a staple in shooter titles, but it takes a truly special game, such as Sniper Elite V2, to take it to a whole new level, specifically for co-op gamers. After listening to their fans frequent requests for more co-op related content in the game, developer Rebellion is giving them exactly what they want with a specifically designed update solely for co-op gaming!
The extra content included in the Dark Souls: Prepare to Die PC edition has been dated for console release. The Artorias of the Abyss expansion will be available as downloadable content on October 23rd for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. Finally!
Keiji Inafune's new cooperative PlayStation Vita title, Soul Sacrifice, will be heading to the US next year. The game was originally set for a winter release in Japan, but has since been pushed back to the spring. At the Tokyo Game Show Inafune said that the game was not technically delayed: they just "need more time" to finish it. Whatever works.

The 1.8.2 Adventure Update DLC of the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft is pretty much complete and will be sent off to Microsoft for certification in about one to two weeks, as stated in a tweet from developer 4J Studios. The final stretch is here and it couldn’t come any sooner.
Deep Silver is at it again. The publishers of Dead Island have released a new trailer for the latest installment of the survival horror franchise, Dead Island Riptide. The original Dead Island announcement trailer was one of the best game trailers ever made. It was so good that many gamers were left disappointed with the actual game, which is a shame. It's a great co-op title.
In two short weeks Resident Evil 6 will once again be infecting the gaming community. Players who picked up Dragon's Dogma were introduced to the latest installment in the survival horror third person shooter franchise in an exclusive demo. Now everyone can get in on the action. Today the Resident Evil 6 public demo is available to anyone with an internet connection and an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3.
Creepy clown masks are all the rage these days. So much so it looks like a sequel is in the works for PAYDAY: The Heist. The original game was developed by Overkill Software who was then acquired by Starbreeze shortly afterwards. While we don't know of any changes on the surface for the studio, having the Starbreeze influence, who most recently developed Syndicate, could make for some welcome changes to the series. We last heard about the sequel in April, but not much has been said since then.
They tell us that symmetry is beauty, that people with the most symmetrical faces are the best looking. Well as someone who looks like the world’s scariest Rorschach test, I can tell you this is a lie. The developers behind Rayman Legends also disagree, as they have purposely designed the Wii U version of the game to have asymmetrical co-op.
Borderlands 2 is here. Did you get goosebumps? I'm sure many of you pre-ordered the highly anticipated followup to one of 2009's best co-op titles. Some of you may already have it right now. Most of you are reading this review to confirm all of your hopes and dreams, your mega-hyped -and possibly insane- expectations.
