Our Weekend In Gaming: Self-Isolation Blues

The days are starting to blend together here at Co-Optimus HQ, but based on my series of chalk lines homemade calendar, I think the weekend is about to start.  There was a small blip of game releases that happened a few weeks ago, and it seems that the Co-Opticrew is trying to wring every last morsel of entertainment out of them.  Hard times, indeed.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Launches Friend Pass

Ghost Recon Breakpoint was launched last fall to very little fanfare. It seemed to fly a bit under the radar, though, that's what a good Ghost does. To that end with everyone cooped up indoors and social distancing and whatnot, Ubisoft have offered players a great opportunity to enjoy some online co-op with friends - and those friends don't even need to purchase the game.

Overcooked! 2's Gourmet Edition Is Out In April

The chaos enthusiasts over at Team17 have pumped out tons of extra Overcooked! 2  content since its original release, and they sure would love to spread it to the world.  Perhaps it's a gesture of good will, or maybe they just enjoy being the cause of kitchen-themed panic, but either way, they're releasing a new "Gourmet Edition" of the title on April 7th.

Biped Stream Recap - More Curse Words Than Legs

Last night's Twitch Stream had Locke and Nick taking on the family friendly co-op game called Biped, and somehow made the entire stream very family unfriendly. The game puts players into the legs of a pair of robots as they traverse environments and timing puzzles together. Sounds easy in practice, but the game requires careful coordination and patience as we quickly learned.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Animalistic

The Co-Opticrew's going whole hog on this weekend with a slew of intense, over-the-top video games.  First off, we'll be RIPPING the arms off DEMONS, then we plan on CRANKIN' some baseballs into the STRATOSPHERE.  Once that's done, we'll be focusing on ways to FINANCE OUR HOME LOANS with RESPONSIBLE PAYMENT PLANS, and afterward, we'll get back to SLAYING katana-wielding GHOSTS.
