Guns! Guns! Guns!  You like guns, I like guns, we all like guns! GUNS!  The folks over at Croteam are no different from us, with the exception that they have a whole country named after them.  Today we have a video showcasing Serious Sam 3: BFE.  We can see not one, not two, not three, but at least 10 guns in action!  Croteam threw in some C4 and a sledgehammer for good measure.  There's even a thing called a Mutilator, but I'm not sure what it is.  I just know what it does. 

Happy Halloween, folks!  We have a few high profile co-op releases this week.  Game titles boasting high impact words like "survival," "war," "deception," and "otomedius."  Wait, what the hell is an "otomedius?"  Let me Google that.  Oh.  O-o-o-h.  Moving forward.

The House of the Dead: Overkill - Extended Cut has arrived just in time for Halloween! Feel like killing zombies, mutants and other monstrosities with a couch co-op partner? Then this may be the game for you!

I've had the opportunity to go hands-on with upcoming 3rd person shooter Inversion on a couple of different occasions. From what I've seen, it's shaping up to be a pretty neat 2-player co-op game with the gravity gameplay well-integrated into the game (as opposed to being gimmicky, which would have been disappointing). We've showed you guys quite a few different trailers for the game, and today we have yet another one to share. This one focuses on the combat of the game.

Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City was said to have a Winter 2012 release date - and it looks like the game is, well, it's going to miss it by one day.  The four player online co-op game is slated to be released on March 20th, 2012 according to Capcom.  Along with the news of its release date comes new screenshots and information about a special edition.

A new trailer for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary debuted this morning. The video is heavy on story scenes and light on actual gameplay. Actually, it doesn’t show any gameplay at all. Then again, the story sequences in Halo games are always rendered in-engine, so we can still get a good feel for how pretty the remake is.

Happy Halloween everyone.  October was filled with many trick or treats in the co-op gaming world.  The biggest trick was possibly calling Dark Souls a co-op game, the biggest treat was no doubt having Mass Effect 3 officially announcing their cooperative mode.  

Regular Amazon shoppers know that the world’s largest online retailer offers tons of great gaming deals during the holiday season. Case in point: from now until Saturday, November 5, Amazon is running a Buy Two, Get One Free sale on console games. The selection of eligible titles includes Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, and both 3DS and DS consoles - sorry, PSP!

We've only briefly seen anything on Fusion: Genesis, a twin stick shooter that blends in MMO elements from upstart studio Starfire.  The game's soundtrack was created by ex-Rare employee Steve Burke, who has soundtrack credits that include Kameo, Viva Pinata, and even the music you hear on your Xbox 360 dashboard.  Apparently Fusion: Genesis is nearing release and Steve was kind enough to release the game's  one hour and twenty-two minute sountrack for free.

It’s not uncommon these days for successful games to be bundled with their DLC and repackaged as Game of the Year editions. It’s a great way of attracting gamers who passed on the game originally by offering lots of extra content. Just as the first LittleBigPlanet got the GOTY treatment, so too will the sequel – this time dubbed LittleBigPlanet 2 Special Edition. Sony will also be offering the Special Edition in a Playstation Move bundle for an even better deal.
