Destiny House of Wolves Expansion Dated, Trailered

Hey, look, Destiny news! Remember Destiny? You know, one of the "winners" of the recycled crap party that was last year's holiday release line up? I sure do. I put over 100 billion hours into that game, and I'd like all but about 20 of them back. Oh, well. Destiny was, and I'm sure will once again be, my digital drug of choice.

MMO Co-Opportunities LIII: A Brave New World for MMOs

Spring is in the air! In a time of changing seasons, that change could also be seen as a reflection of the state of MMOs right now. It seems like developers have stopped chasing the legendary “WoW-killer,” (including Blizzard themselves), and have gone in the direction of making MMOs for a very specific crowd, whether that’s build...

Will this be the patch to end all patches? Probably not!

The World Rejoices As Diablo 3's Latest Patch Goes Live

Like the mysterious, twisting forces of the world around us, or like a man walking a tightrope over a vat of expired Spaghetti-O's, Diablo 3 strives for perfect balance.  As such, Blizzard has released patch 2.2 to ensure that their game is not only balanced, but also filled with brand new item sets for their players to pilfer from the the remains of formerly living monsters.

Son of Nor Out Now On Steam

Okay, so let me get this straight.  You got sent to the principal's office for what now?  Fifth Grader Tommy wouldn't let you play kickball, so you removed the earth from right under his feet and sent him tumbling into the dark abyss that remained?  And how'd ya do this?  You say it's called terraforming, and you learned how to do it from the hot new release, Son of Nor?  Kid, I don't even know what terraforming is!  I'm just a janitor that happened to wander into the principal's office.

Capcom has their reasons, for sure...

Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition Loses Split Screen Functionality on PC

Games for Windows Live might not be the best service on the planet, but it did provide gamers with opportunities to do some neat co-op stuff. In this case, unfortunately, we learned recently that Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition on Steamworks will not support its split screen co-op mod previously available on Games For Windows Live.

Introducing: Burny And Stabby

Van Helsing III Dated for May; Two New Classes Announced

There's something to be said about the consistency of the name The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III. The other two games were simply The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing and The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II, so that makes sense. However, I've got to applaud NeocoreGames for not succumbing to the use of the subtitle, mostly because I get confused easily. There's no need to do away with numerals and slap on :Wrath of the The Vampire Puncher or :Dance Away the Darkness. Just go with numbers, people. It's how we count.
