Xbox Live Gold Members Can Get ilomilo for Half off This Month

Nothing says loving like a fresh and creative co-op game. Even sweeter is getting said game for half off the regular price. Now that Xbox Live Arcade exclusive ilomilo is the Xbox Live Family Gold Pack Deal of the Month for March, anybody with a Gold subscription can put this bun in their oven. For only five dollars, you'll be hard pressed to find a better co-op deal this month - unless something better pops up, of course.

Co-Op Classics Video Edition: Cadillacs & Dinosaurs and Seawolf II

Another month has come and gone, and we're back with a couple Co-Op Classics for your viewing pleasure. Today, we've got a nice contrast for you, with a game from the infancy of the video game era, coupled with a strong entry from the heyday of the brawler. Where else can you find Caddilacs, dinosaurs, and sea wolves, folks? (And what exactly IS a sea wolf anyway?)

Jean-Sebastien Decant has taken over as the creative lead for Rainbow 6: Patriots

Ubisoft Reshuffle Lands Heavy Rain Designer Rainbow 6: Patriots

Hello, my name is Samoza and I have a confession to make - I like single player games. Co-op experiences are fantastic, but sometimes you want to be alone.  One such case is the sublime Heavy Rain - a game so infused with emotion that my partner sat and watched it like a film as I played (not so alone then). Rainbow 6: Patriots is a game aiming to do something very similar.  Therefore, the news that Heavy Rain designer Jean-Sebastien Decant is taking over as creative lead must be a good thing.  Or is it a sign of the development struggling?

Most convenient feature of this console generation?

Cloud Co-Op

In 2006, I purchased an Xbox 360, on a bit of a whim. I had gone to the store in the midst of a period of snow days, on hearing a rumor that Wiis were in stock. They sold out before I arrived, and with two cooped up and stir crazy kids plus a new HDTV at home, I took home an Xbox 360. I’ve been a big fan of the system ever since, but of course there were a few flaws. One of the most irritating (apart from the red ring of death) was the lack of storage methods.

This Week in Co-Op: A Journey With Children

It's been a hectic week for gaming. Truthfully, the last six weeks have been filled with mayhem.  My second child, Player Four, began the big game of life back in January.  Since then, finding time to play more frivolous games has become a daily struggle for us.  "Struggle" being a relative term.  It's not like we're freedom fighters.  We're just trying to get our game on without getting baby poo on our controllers.  Is that too much to ask?  According to Player Three, it is.
