Do you know what really grinds my gears? Games that are released soon, but don't have an official release date! How am I meant to know if I can preorder the game, or whether it has slipped? Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse was one such game until today. The Griffin family et al. will be available on November 20th in the US and November 23rd in the EU.
Today we have a little news for Borderlands 2 and big news for a new iOS game in the shoot and loot franchise. First up, Borderlands 2 received a patch that should fix several minor to major issues that have popped up since the latest DLC went live.
Krater: Shadows Over Solside was released back in June and if you haven't had the chance to check it out, think of it as a squad based dungeon crawler with a post apocalyptic junkyard theme...and robots. It was released as single player only and was begging for co-op so thankfully the nice developers at Fatshark are patching in their FREE co-op mode today.

Two great co-op titles, Happy Wars and Fruit Ninja Kinect want to have their gamers get in the spirit of Halloween, and they’re going to do it through small, fun-sized DLC additions.
Konami's been experimenting with the Silent Hill formula for a while now, but nothing has been quite as drastic as converting the venerable survival horror series into an Action RPG. Silent Hill: Book of Memories is the result of this crazy mashup, and throws co-op into the mix. How does it stand up? Well...
The extra content from the PC version of Dark Souls has made its way to consoles. The "Artorias of the Abyss" add-on will include all the new content that was added to the Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition PC port. This will add new areas, NPCs, gear, weapons, enemies, bosses and most importantly, new ways to die. It should make up five to ten hours of gameplay, depending upon your skill level, or how slowly you creep through new areas.
Sales are a great time to give uglier games a chance. You know, games you weren't dying to buy at launch, but always kind of wanted to play. With that in mind, now's a great time to try Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon. The Xbox Live Arcade version has just gone on sale for 400 MS Points (its first discount) as part of Microsoft's Shocktober promotion. Painkiller: Hell and Damnation is an all new game set in the universe created by the 2004 classic PC title Painkiller. The game is being developed by Polish Studio, The Farm 51 and is set for release next week on PC and in January on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It's an old school FPS at heart throwing wave after wave of baddies at you with no where to go for cover. The original game was famous for the "stake gun" - a weapon that allowed you to impale enemies on large wooden spikes and stick them to various objects - we're happy to report its back.
Some games feel like I have been playing them for years. In the case of Worms Revolution, I pretty much have, but will the added co-op make the game feel fresh and shiny new?
