Look, we try to highlight the occasional good

Anthem Stream Recap and Impressions

BioWare's Anthem is a video game that was released in February 2019. Part of me wants to stop there and just leave this as a purely factual post. The other part has some things to say about the aforementioned game. In the span of about a week and a half, it has become one of the most talked about releases so far this year, but not exactly for positive reasons. For this week's "Let's Play Co-Op," Mike and I did our best to talk about the good, the bad, and the co-op, though if I'm honest, it is weighted towards "the bad."

Second one slated for an end of April release

First DLC Pack for Travis Strikes Again Arrives Today

The first DLC pack for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes arrives today on the Nintendo Switch. This continuation of the No More Heroes franchise is kind of a departure from the past two entries, featuring a top-down, button-pressing, hack-and-slash adventure with everyone's favorite otaku, Travis Touchdown. The new paid content adds a new playable character, two new skills for that character, and a new text adventure.

Devouring Aragami is the most important meal of the day

God Eater 3 Stream Recap and Impressions

The latest entry in the God Eater franchise, God Eater 3, is something of a departure from the previous games. Bandai Namco changed the developer - Shift was responsible for the first two titles and Marvelous Inc, who worked on Soul Sacrifice, was brought on for this one - in order to "bring in a breath of fresh air" and rework many of the systems that they felt had become overly complex. The result is, in my opinion, the best God Eater game to date and the one that is the most approachable for newcomers (if you're ok with some anime).

A new healer is definitely needed

First Big Update for Breach Drops Today Along With The Price

The first big update for QC Games' Breach hits today and adds a whole new map, a new boss to fight, a new character to play (a healer, yay!), and some new foes to fight in the Tokyo map. Alongside this update, the game is also getting a price drop for the "base" package; the $25 Founder's Pack is going away in favor of the $10 Early Access Pass, and that's a good asking price, IMO.
