The popular indie hit, Surgeon Simulator has finally reached the PlayStation Store, bringing forth the ultimate edition of the game on PS4: Surgeon Simulator A&E! Why not bring along a friend to join in?

A few years ago, we reviewed a little game called Guns of Icarus and found, unfortunately, the co-op a little bit lacking. Fast forward half a decade into the future. Four-manned blimps once again rule the skies. Here we are, in the year 2014, and Guns of Icarus has been reborn as Guns of Icarus Online. And you know what? It finally has a dedicated co-op mode! Interested dirigible pilots may investigate this co-op expansion at Pax Prime this month, but only from August 28 through the 29th.

Try to keep the images of Guile from Street Fighter out of your mind when we tell you that Sonic Boom has a release date. Sega's co-op action adventure game with the appropriate amount of "attitude" we'd expect from the post-2000 Sonic will launch in mid-November in the U.S. and UK.

One of the darling indie games of the past decade is a little sidescrolling shooter called Platypus. A few years ago Elgato released a device called the Game Capture HD. The small device allowed gamers to capture video from their Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or other HDMI device right into their PC. Today the company have released a new version of it, the Elgato Game Capture HD60. It's a minor update to an already great product with the biggest improvement being the ability to capture 1080p 60fps video.

Fans of the frenetic mayhem that is Gauntlet might have some group-oriented play to look forward to in Knight Squad. You and your buddies take on the role of valiant knights who battle to the death, perishing countless times in brutal arena matchups with various goals. Currently available on Steam's Early Access, the co-op arena game is destined for Xbox One sometime this fall. 

It may sound like one of those black and white horror movies that come on at three in the morning, but Terrorhedron is actually a co-op tower defense game! Created by Micro Macro Games, this shiny 3D release has some nice features that make it worth a look, things like programmable turrets and eight player online co-op!
