Our Weekend In Gaming: Snow Day

It's getting mighty chilly around Co-Optimus HQ.  If things get any worse, we may be forced to take a few days off and wait for the routes to clear between our bedrooms and... our other bedrooms.  There's no telling what could happen if we tried to commute in these conditions, so it's probably better to play it safe.

Co-Op Monthly Round-Up for November, 2020

Not only did the Next Console Generation(TM) finally hit the shelves last month - there were so many games with some kind of co-op feature released that our release date calendar couldn't keep up any more and stopped displaying them. Don't worry though: Our elves in the server mines are of course working hard on the problem. In the meantime check below to see if you might have missed something interesting. The database on the other hand saw an addition of over 185 entries of all shapes and sizes. Dig in!

FUSER Co-Op Stream Recap and Impressions

A long time ago a music games were all the rage. Battles were fought on consoles for the ultimate "hero" game with the likes of Guitar Hero, Rock Band, DJ Hero and many others. But the bubble burst and those games were found few and far between. A 60% keyboard collaboration between Ducky and HyperX

HyperX x Ducky One 2 Mini Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Black Colorway Review

Earlier this year in May, HyperX and Ducky launched a collaboration: the HyperX x Ducky One 2 Mini Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. This was an exciting collaboration that partnered Ducky signatures (like 60% keyboard size and Ducky Macro 2.0) with HyperX hallmarks (such as in-house HyperX switches with exposed LEDs). Only 3700 units were released, and they sold out very quickly.

ROCCAT Burst Pro and Sense AIMO XXL Gaming Surface Impressions

Following up on our review of the ROCCAT Vulkan TKL Pro comes the other piece of recent gaming hardware, the Burst Pro gaming mouse. The weight of a gaming mouse has always been one of the most controversial features, while in the past gamers tended towards heavier more stable mice, the new trend is as light as possible. To that end we've seen ...

Our Weekend In Gaming: Next-Gen Nonsense

Since Sony and Microsoft's latest consoles are finally seeing the cold light of day, it's the Co-Opticrew's solemn duty to test them out and report back.  I'll give you a quick teaser, though:  they're probably just fine.  Nevertheless, the examinations must commence, so we'll be slingin' webs and swingin' axes all weekend long.

Tiny but mighty

ROCCAT Vulkan TKL Pro Impressions

Thanks to Co-Optimus, I've been fortunate enough to get fingers on a lot of keyboards over the years. It's clear that in the 12 years this website has been around keyboard technology has progressed quite a bit. The latest keyboard from ROCCAT Gaming is the shining example of this when looking in retrospect. I've been using the the ROCCAT Vulkan TKL Pro for the past week and I've come away incredibly impressed with modern keyboard keyboard technology.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Extra Life!

The Co-Opticrew is getting an extra life for the weekend, and we couldn't be more excited (not a Second Life, though, that's for the Co-Opticrew After Dark stream).  Sure, we'll be playing a frankly unhealthy amount of video games over the next 48 to 72 hours, but we're doing it for charity.  We're practically heroes.
