Sugar and spice and a Zombiesaurus

A World of Keflings Getting Candy and Graveyard Themed DLC

It's been almost a year since A World of Keflings has received new DLC. Developer Ninja Bee is going to scratch your family friendly, world-building, simulation itch with two new DLCs this month. The first, titled "Sugar, Spice, and Not So Nice," will feature a candy themed realm for your tiny Keflings to build up and explore. It will be available through the XBLA Marketplace on October 10th for 320 Microsoft Points ($4). You can see a video of the sweet new kingdom below.

Release Date Announced as Guardians of Middle Earth Comes to Retail Too

Guardians of Middle Earth to this point was going to be a downloadable only title on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.  Now though, the game is seeing a full retail release along side of the digital only version.  Warner Bros today announced a $30 physical version of the game which will include a Season Pass code for access to all future digital content.  The digital version will set you back $15 with the option to purchase the season pass separately, though a price hasn't been disclosed.  Using some complex deduction skills, we're guessing the season pass will cost $15.

Oh where or where have my undead friends gone?

Vita Version of Black Ops 2 Won't Feature a Co-Op Zombies Mode

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is coming to the PlayStation Vita, something that was revealed during E3 earlier this year.  Details about the game have been scarce, we do know it serves as a prequel for the Black Ops series though.  And with that sort of pedigree with expected to see a solid co-op mode being added as well, preferably of the undead variety.

Kung Fu Strike Gets DLC for Some Reason

Even though I was hyped for Kung Fu Strike: The Warrior's Rise prior to its release, the final release left me severely disappointed. As I state in our review, even the 2-player local co-op is bad, and that's hard to do with a brawler! But even terrible games get downloadable content it seems, and this one is no exception. The 'Kung Fu Master Levels' DLC is now available for 240 Microsoft Points ($3).

Sanctum Releases New Update and DLC

This past week tower defense/FPS hybrid Sanctum received both a free update as well as a DLC map pack. The patch, entitled Still Alive, adds a new weapon (the Tesla Gun) as well as two new towers (the Drone and the Accelerator) to the base game. The map pack (entitled Map Pack 2, who would have thought?) gives purchasers access to three new levels (Industry, Chasm, and Invasion) for the price of $4.99.

Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken Launches on PC

Almost a year after its PlayStation Network release, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is coming to PC. This little side-scrolling shooter features a single player story mode wrought with evil birds, bizarre flashbacks, soaring jetpacks, and blazing guns.  It also includes a separate co-op campaign that supports two local players. It's simple and fun, and the two player co-op adds some interesting elements to the platforming. You can read more about it in our Co-Op Review

Sim City Game Play Video Reminds You Why You Love Sim City

There's a new Sim City game coming next year and it's going to be bigger and more ambitious than any of the previous titles.  Among the new features will be cooperative inter-city gameplay allowing players to work together to build bigger and better cities.   The PC exclusive title expands on one of the oldest franchises in PC gaming, and from the looks of it, it's going to do it justice.
