Hellraid DLC Delayed After Beta Player Feedback
Mixed emotions I'm sure as Techland have announced the once a game, then a DLC, now a delayed DLC Hellraid for Dying Light has been bumped from a release this week until August 14th 2020.

The original Dead Pixels has been featured on Xbox Live and Steam for about as long as I can remember and has appeared on a number of “Best of” lists for both services. So it comes as great news that the Dead Pixels sequel, Dead Pixels 2: Straight to Video, has been announced for a Steam release complete with a brand new trailer and some very neon-inspired vibes.
This one came out of left field for me, as I had no idea there was a sequel in the making. But Orcs Must Die! 3 is out now...and it's a Google Stadia Exclusive for the time being. The sequel takes place 20 years after Orcs Must Die! 2, which was a fine example of a co-op tower defense game.
The addition of Halo 3 to the Master Chief Collection on PC has got the Co-Opticrew all revved up for the weekend. You can bet we'll be cranking up that difficulty and slamming our heads against the co-op campaign for as long as our bodies will allow. We may be older and less agile than the first time Halo 3 came to town, but you can bet we haven't lost our cooperative gaming expertise. Honestly, though, it's probably a good thing we're a co-op site, because diving back into the competitive multiplayer would probably go... not well.
After a short break in June, we’re back with another issue of MMOCO! In this issue, we’ll be looking at a new area and storyline for Black Desert Online, a delay for New World’s launch, and a month-long event for Defiance and Defiance 2050. Let’s jump in! BDO Adds Papua Crinea Island and Storyline At the end of June,...
Epic Games and Tripwire Interactive have announced that Killing Floor 2 is available for everyone for free until July 16th. The first person co-op horror game is a fast paced survival shooter pitting players against mutant enemies in a all out slaughter to survive. Originally released in 2016 on Steam, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 the game continues to add content along the way.
The construct of time is becoming less and less stable here at Co-Optimus HQ, but I'm hearing from outside sources that another weekend is upon us. With reality slipping into the same, Groundhog Day-esque loop, it makes sense that the Co-Opticrew has turned to simple building blocks as a way to force some sort of logic back into their lives. Whether or not it will work remains to be seen, but you can't fault them for trying.
If you liked 2018’s 20XX, or are a MegaMan fan who hasn’t had their thirst for a proper installment in the series quenched in quite some time, 30XX might just be the sequel you’ve been waiting for. Recently, Batterystaple Games took to Steam to create a page for their new installment in the 20XX franchise, 30XX. The official website for the game reads: “Jump, shoot, and slash your way through 30XX, the roguelike action platformer you can play with a friend! Explore lush, ever-changing worlds that mix precise platforming with fevered combat. Destroy fearsome Guardians. Master unique Powers. Rediscover the thousand years we've lost.” Sign me up.
Jason and Nick are a duo in our latest Sea of Thieves stream, so we board our sloop and head to the high seas to take on the ghost fleet spawned by the Haunted Shores content drop from the game.
Generally speaking, stealth games are at their best when they present players with problems to solve rather than patterns to memorize. Ideally, players should be enticed to toy with the environment and test how their actions impact the situation. Sneaky Bastards' latest game, Wildfire, presents this exact sentiment in a 2D, pixelated aesthetic.
Minecraft Dungeons has been out for about a month and we know that Microsoft had planned to bring more content to the game via DLC. That first piece of content is now available for Hero Pass owners, or available separately for a price of $4.99. So what is it? It's called Jungle Awakens and it's a whole new area and motif to explore.
Marvel Avengers has been a mostly hidden title since it was announced at E3 just about a year ago. While the game has had tidbits of information and media released since then we haven't seen much in terms of core content, despite the delay from earlier this year. Now with a 90 minute live stream reveal, Square-Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics have showed off a good chunk of what the game has to offer.
